After her 1st of 4 children, was born in a hospital and was va$$inated without her consent, (her worst nightmare) Kela decided it was time to do some of her own research, learn her birth rights as a woman, and find a comfortable and safe way to give birth that left her feeling connected, empowered, and confident. This episode is SURE to open your eyes and shift your perspective on what is considered “normal” according to typical birth industry standards. My hope is that Kela’s story really gets you to question what you’ve been told your entire life as a women, and choose to finally empower yourself with INFORMATION, so that you are not ever violated or taken advantage of in a hospital when birthing your beautiful children.

ALL birth is beautiful and ALL mothers are amazing and making choices based upon the information that they knew best. This episode is simply to inspire and inform. So that these types of mistakes that can happen in hospitals (and do all the time) can be avoided.

Todays episode, I interview my friends Kyle who is a fountain of knowledge when it comes to all things natural healing remedies, organic mushroom and turmeric farming, sleep optimization, and more! Every time we talk together on the phone or over instagram messages, I am always amazed by how much I learn and gain from a conversation with him so I figured all my listeners should be able to listen in on our conversation!! In this episode, we focus primarily on the importance of getting a high quantity of REM sleep and what factors play into us not having an optimal amount of sleep and waking up sluggish. We talk about the detriment of artificial lighting and how easily it can disturb our production of melatonin before bed. I also share why I’ve stopped using artificial lighting in my house in order to regulate my hormones and increase my chance of fertility!

TODAYS EPISODE | I wanted to share briefly about my devotion to a daily meditation practice of 45 minutes + and what it does for my mental health. In addition.. I am talking about the need for us to be placing a great emphasis on the need to do nothing.. and I mean NOTHING, on a regular basis. No phone, no Netflix, no music, nothing. Just doing nothing, and what it can do for you. It's a lost art these days but one that I see happening regularly here in Bali by the local elders. I feel inspired by them regularly and wanted to expand on that. I hope this resonates with you. Share it and tag me if it does!!

TODAYS EPISODE | Theres one thing that's completely shifted my relationship with my life more than anything else and thats my devotion to connecting with nature in ways that most people have never even considered. A lot of my awe and fasciation surrounding nature began with my experiences using psilocybin mushrooms - and from there it became a natural state of being that I can always tap into. In this episode, I share a story about when I was on the beach in Hawaii on 5 grams of mushrooms and had a full blown conversation with the trees. I think you'll really gain a lot from this share!
