Infinite Minute

We’ve stitched ourselves up on ‘Infinite Minute’! In what may be our shortest episode ever, we have one bit of new content in the ED to talk about and that’s it! Is this comeuppance for not keeping up with current anime? Yes.

We’re dramatically pausing on ‘Infinite Minute’! David is grumbly, the organs are ominous, the rain is falling, and the lightning is crashing - it’s a dramatic ten seconds before the palm trees! And then it’s a big ol’ helping of still not anime chat as Caity and Jono have completely fallen off the wagon when it comes to watching seasonal anime? What happened, y’all? You used to be so up-to-date with the latest isekais!?

But most importantly, we want palm trees bac on ‘Infinite Minute’! It’s a very rushed minute, Joe has his chance to attac and does not take it, Miya is reac ALL WRONG, Langa is taking an awful lot of footsteps, this is less a minute of conversations and more just a bunch of dudes saying stuff to move the plot forward, and we’re catching up on the twitter TL #herwebconnectsthemall

King vs Reki now? ‘Infinite Minute’! We’re crying during the sub and shaking our heads during the dub, Reki and Adam are in the urethra zone, the music is intense! we’re annoyed at the repeating deus ex machina of wheel loss, we love a certain boy wizard over here (we don’t actually condone the actions of you-know-who), and Caity is legit a fanfic repository, but it’s only because fanfic bloody changed her bloody life!

It’s dinner time on ‘Infinite Minute’! Adam LOSES it, Unforgivable DOES EQUAL I’ll never forgive you, the factory is always a time skip in beefs, have the skate 8 been inside this whole time??, where do you lie on the scale of some and none, and we wonder how many coffees/energy drinks David/Koyasu needed to prepare for this minute.

It’s going fine on ‘Infinite Minute’! Adam is pathetic, choose your fighter - Mulan or Troy Bolton, we’re in our thirties and so is every famous and successful person in the world (comparison is the thief of joy), enough about Jono’s original character Sir David Croaker, Reki is WINNING, and Caity definitely didn’t have “a fall”...

Banger minute on ‘Infinite Minute’! Adam gets his cardio in, Reki avoids Full Swing Kiss, Adam is using speedrun strats, Jonathon can’t tell robots apart, the dub “subverted” the anime trope of yelling out your move as you do it (Pucker Up, Buttercup), where were u when Homestuck/Princess Diana died, and there’s subtle and good rain animation stuff going on here, y’all.

It’s time for another ‘Chicago’ reference on ‘Infinite Minute’! It’s also time for a ‘High School Musical 2’ reference as we talk about old mate Zac, we talk about the Italian Song Contest and John Travolta (please ignore Jonathon’s domestic life happening in the background), and then we FINALLY talk about Sk8 the Infinity! It’s raining, Soliloquiscent is coined, Adam hates a wet deck and oop we’re talking about not Sk8 again SORRY

The Weather Bureau is on their airhorn this ‘Infinite Minute’! It’s raining, the rains are here/out, these podcasters need to get their minds out of the gutter, Reki has some cojones, we struggle with fisting, and we were rollerblading kids 😎😎

It takes a turn on ‘Infinite Minute’! This is a fictional show (lol), Reki jumps off an elephant tusk, this is NOT a Haikyuu podcast, Reki is upside down and we’re confused, Caity has laser-focused hearing when it comes to Jonah Scott in other media, and Miya is in love with Reki and we are in love with comedian Lisa Gilroy?
