Rebecca Rogers Nelson is an actress, screenwriter, and producer. She and her husband, Durrell Nelson, own Beautiful Feet Productions and make films that promote family, celebrate redemption, and reflect a Christian worldview. Rebecca is a mom and is passionate about adoption and raising awareness for the plight of "homeland orphans." She and her husband have adopted four of their five children through the U.S. foster system.
Rebecca wrote the screenplay for AN UNLIKELY ANGEL, produced by Beautiful Feet Productions, which premiered on the PureFlix platform in September of 2022. It was #1 on the platform for nine months and remains in the top ten for views of all time since the platform's launch. AN UNLIKELY CHRISTMAS ANGEL is now in development.
Other screenplays of Rebecca's which have garnered awards are PONY ISLAND RUN, winner of the Virginia Governor's Screenwriting Competition; THE HOME GAME (shared writing credit with her husband, Durrell Nelson) winner of the Maryland Film Festival; and WAKING IN SOUTHPORT, which won First Place in the Richmond International Film Festival and was optioned as the result of a bidding war by Daniel L. Paulson, producer of SWEET MAGNOLIAS. The LOST FRIENDS series, which Rebecca created and co-wrote, is presently being shopped to several networks.
As an actress, Rebecca plays a lead role as the wife of Kirk Cameron in the latest Kendrick Brothers' movie, LIFEMARK, which was #2 at the Box Office its opening weekend. Rebecca also played a lead role in the award-winning faith-based film, BADGE OF FAITH. Rebecca has a lead role opposite Karen Abercrombie in the series, ELEANOR'S BENCH, presently airing on PureFlix.
