Sooo.. you want to learn some real estate tips?  

What about some cool ideas about marketing in real estate?  

There is a ton out there for us to consume that it can be overwhelming..  Trust me, I’ve been there.  

Video after video on lead generation, FSBO, tips for new agents, real estate marketing ideas, and the list goes on and on.  

Today, I’m here to tell you to be very careful when it comes to listening to some real estate agent marketing strategies.  

It is a very real possibility that some of them could be costing you money.  

I’ve been lost in a sea of real estate marketing videos before…  

Some of them were saying that Facebook Ads needed to be a part of my real estate marketing plan.  

Others would say that the secret was going to be some kind of real estate marketing on Facebook.  

But the truth is, no matter what real estate marketing tools you are using…  

Real estate marketing, when done incorrectly can be costly.  

We can’t just learn about marketing for real estate.  

That pretty broad, and if you have heard me speak before, you know that I believe that Broad is Broke, and Niche is Rich!  

So we are not going to talk about Facebook marketing for real estate  We’re going to talk about avoiding the pitfalls of ineffective real estate marketing strategies.  

One last thing I want to mention…  

In no way am I saying that all real estate marketing strategies are bad.  It’s quite the opposite.  I’m a huge fan of most real estate marketing ideas.  

But as with anything real estate marketing is a journey to find what truly works for you and your business.

What do you think of when you hear the phrase, “Ideal Client Avatar”?

When real estate agents are first starting to think of their ideal client, the first answer they tend to give is "anyone looking to buy or sell a house". 

But let me let you in on a little secret…   

Creating your ideal client profile template is going to take a little bit more work than that.    

Crafting your ideal customer profile is about going deep into what you truly want your real estate business to be.    

It is absolutely possible (trust me, I’ve coached so many agents on this) to wake up every morning and be excited to work with one ideal customer after another.    

But if you are still stuck taking anyone and any deal to survive,  then crafting your ideal customer avatar might be a little bit more difficult.    

I sometimes call this the fear of real estate niches.  

We neglect to make an ideal client profile or worse….   

We were never taught how to create your ideal client profile, and then wonder why business comes from everywhere or why we have to deal with clients we don’t like.    

In this podcast, I’m going to show you how to create your customer avatar.  

By asking just two powerful questions, we are going to create your ideal client profile.    

This will make marketing to your ideal client soo much easier!  

I cannot express just how powerful it is to have your client profile or target client help shape any and all marketing ideas to ensure maximum impact.

OMG! I’m so excited to talk about Real estate referrals..

Asking for referrals needs to be a staple in your real estate business.  Now, we aren’t talking about a real estate referral agent. Unless you mean you...lol.

I’m not sure if you know this but you are in the real estate referral business.  And the best part about this business is it’s free!  There is no, “ real estate referral fee”.  When you get to a level where, real estate referrals area normal part of your business model, then you are one step closer to making your real estate business “recession-proof”.

This isn’t about a real estate referral program.  This is about knowing why you aren’t asking for referrals in the first place and what to do about it!

We are going to go way beyond the old school method of writing real estate referral thank you notes or using real estate referral gifts.  WE are going to talk about what is working in today’s market.

Let me first say this…

Asking for referrals isn’t easy, but it will be when using these methods.

Asking for referrals in sales isn’t natural, and I get the hesitation you may be feeling.  But by flipping the script and making it all about them, it will soon be a task taht you enjoy doing!

Whether you are asking for referrals on LinkedIn, asking for referrals on Facebook, asking for referrals on Instagram, or any other way…

This will absolutely help you out!

Let’s talk about handling criticism…  

Today, in this video I’m covering How to Handle Criticism When Marketing Your Real Estate Business.  

Now I know that when someone says, “Hey this is how to handle criticism.”  

Your mind is going to take you to that exact instance that caused you the most pain.  We all remember that one comment, statement, DM that just cut us to the core.  

So when it comes to understanding how to handle criticism…. 

I get it. But as a marketer, it is so important to know when to handle criticism, and when to dismiss it.  

Did you get that?  

If I was to ask you, “How do you handle criticism?”   

Would you know when to answer with, “It depends.”  

Whether it’s constructive criticism, criticism at work, social media criticism, etc.
