Influential U

This episode, we are welcoming Lauren Cato Robertson and Dr. Gary Ward to our Legends on Legends Series on the Influential U Podcast.

Lauren Cato Robertson is a CranioSacral Therapist, Lymph Drainage Therapist, and Reiki Master out of Texas, in the United States. She is the Co-Owner of the Ke Kino Massage Academy where they provide a unique massage therapy experience for thei clients, and a powerful education for their students She identifies as a Performer personality and hold’s a constructivist’s world view and her enthusiasm for art and life is undeniable. She’s incredibly talented.

Dr. Gary Ward is a general practitioner with a focus on proactive preventative healthcare who specializes in working with high performing executives and CEOs out of Perth, Australia. Depending on the day, he identifies as an Inventor or Performer personality and holds a Subjectivist or Constructivist’s worldview. I’ve had the privilege of teaching the Fundamentals of Transaction Program with Gary, as he is part of our Faculty for Influential U.

This episode we begin a series we are calling “Legends on Legends''. At Influential U, we have a group that is held in our highest regard and admiration- this group is our Esteemed Alumni. Esteemed Alumni are those who have completed our four-year curriculum in Transactional Competence. The most ambitious of our Esteemed Alumni, our "Green Berets", if you will, study in a program known as Legends. Influential U Legends are often top performers in their fields and have experienced a level of achievement and satisfaction that only comes from years of deliberate practice and study. This program is led in fellowship with co-founders Kirkland Tibbels and John Patterson and this initiative includes a wide range of strategies to advance and expand their own application of Transactional Competence and pave the path in the study of Transactional Leadership. We’re talking about the ELITE of the ELITE entrepreneurs, executives, and consultants.

Over the course of the next few months, we’ll have special episodes of the Influential U Podcast. I’ll be introducing our two guests and then getting out of the way so that you may experience the expertise and communication between two of our participants. If you listen closely, we believe that you’ll hear a level of Transactional Leadership that is quite novel in day to day conversation.

This week, we are welcoming Karina Christensen and Andrew Crellin to our Legends on Legends Series.

Karina Christensen is a fan favorite of our podcast. She is the Co-Founder of Contigo Ventures Baja, out of Baja, Mexico, by way of Denver, Colorado where she is in the midst of developing high-design condo projects that enhance from the natural beauty of the local mexican environment. She identifies as a Performer personality and hold’s a constructivist’s world view. You’ve seen her on our podcasts before, and she always brings an infectious energy and enthusiasm to everything she touches.

Andrew Crellin is the Managing Director of Sterling and Currency out of Perth, Australia where he works as a numisist, or dealer in rare coins and banknotes. He identifies as a Producer personality and holds an objectivist’s world view. His specialties include the identification, appraisal, and research of Australian rare coins and banknotes and he’s an avid learner and you can find more about his company by going to sterlingcurrency.com.au

In the theme of the Condition of Life, Relationship, we're excited to have one of Influential U's favorite couples, Paul Harris and Dr. Moira Clay, join the podcast. Paul and Moira live in Perth, Australia, and if you've ever been around them, you know they are an absolute delight. As you’ll hear in the interview, Paul is a Judge personality, or you could say he holds a deconstructivist / skeptical worldview, and Moira is a Performer personality, with a constructivist worldview. One might assume that would cause conflict and miscommunication, but by looking at their differences, having empathy for one another, and using what they've learned at Influential U, they've been able to attain a beautiful harmony in their relationship.

Our couple today is Todd and Danielle Brossart. Todd and Danielle live in Denver, Colorado, and as you’ll see, they’re both incredibly astute learners. Todd is a producer personality and a licensed clinical social worker at his company, “Mental Events” and the creator of the Mindfulness Journal, which I use every morning and we’ll definitely plug later in the show so you can purchase a copy. Danielle is a performer and works as a Sales Enablement Technology and Operations Training Specialist with Twilio and an Adjunct Professor of Communications. This week’s guests, Karina Christenson and Ron Sprengeler, had a unique experience with Influential U. They are the first and only couple to complete the whole curriculum together from start to finish. We all strive for happiness in our lives, and a big part of that comes from having strong and fulfilling relationships. As Karina and Ron will attest, those types of relationships don’t come easy, but while studying with Influential U, they were able to gain a better understanding of each other and improve their communication.
