Charla Cook is a force to be reckoned with. In today's episode, I had the pleasure of sitting down with my very own EXP realtor mentor and we discussed everything from breaking the barrier of being told that she was "too old" to barrel race to hearing how she and her husband built multiple businesses and even overcame her husband's battle with alcoholism.

Charlotte's story is one of unique making and I feel privileged to share it with you! I hope you enjoy this conversation as much as I did!

In episode 51, Jenny welcomes the youngest woman ever into the studio to chat on the Influential Women Podcast. It's CSU-Pueblo's Student Body President, Mikayla Lerch! She talks with Jenny about her life experiences so far, being the first woman to ever serve two terms as Student Body President at CSU-Pueblo and her plans for law school in the near future! (Fingers crossed for Denver University!) 

Happy Woman Wednesday! In this episode of The Influential Women Podcast, Jenny sits down with Cherl Sherwood who Jenny goes WAY back with. (They're actually cousins!) She is a counselor at Pueblo County High School, where she met her when she was a teacher there. She talks about her beautiful children and her passions in life, including kids and coaching volleyball/basketball. So thrilled to have finally gotten her into the studio to do the podcast! 

In Episode 49 of Influential Women, Jenny welcomes Megan Kroeze into the studio! She discusses her life growing up in a small town of 200 in northern Minnesota and how she made her journey to Colorado. She is now into real estate investing and has a daughter who is now 7 who is the pillar of her life and her "Why."  

In this episode of Influential Women, Jenny sits down with Erin Gust. Her office just happens to be right next to Jenny's! She talks about her journey from Florida to Colorado, her hobbies and interests and her family! Erin has worked closely with Jenny's husband Matt for years and has been known by most to be the yin to his yang.

In this episode of Influential Women, Jenny welcomes Kris Hartman into the studio! Jenny met Kris at The Junior League of Pueblo 8 years ago. She discusses the importance of her family, what she has accomplished in her 33 years of living in Pueblo, and how important volunteering is to a community. 

In this episode of Influential Women, I sit down with the amazing, accomplished Roxy Pignanelli! She has done so much for the Pueblo community and her passion and advocacy for children is contagious! 

She is currently running for County Commissioner in Pueblos 3rd District! It was such a great experience talking to her about her life and her personal and professional endeavors. 

It shouldn't take long for you to recognize how excited I was to have Jerri Garcia on the podcast! I had the honor to teach middle schoolers alongside her for a few years and her passion for life and kids is contagious. I even brought in a couple of sweet teas from McDonald's for old time's sake. Love this woman and the helpful advice she has given me along life's journey. 

On episode 44 of Influential Women, Jenny sits down with Lindsay Reeves to discuss her life, her career in nonprofits and how that has allowed her to sit on various different boards where she makes a direct impact on the Pueblo community. 

It's so important to have good people who care about their community and Lindsay cares deeply about Pueblo. It was an honor to have her on Influential Women!
