In the 6th episode of Info Under the Radar, we are covering a topic that is a global issue. We are talking about sustainable living with a focus on recycling plastic. We have a very special guest with us, Eleonore Eisath. Eleonore's empathetic relation with nature led her to embark on a journey to resolve the problem of plastic pollution. Her brainchild, beworm.org, is a BioTech startup working on recycling processes using microorganisms to decompose plastic material into their building blocks.

In the fourth episode of Info Under the Radar we are going to talk about Social Media and explore it from the eye of a social media researcher. We are back! In the second episode of Info Under the Radar we are going to dive into the world of wearables. In the last 4-5 years smart-watches, smart bands, health and fitness bands have become an integral part of many people's life. So like us, we hoped that you'd be curious to know about a thing that is attached to your body and is collecting your health data without you even realizing it.

We invited Mr. Greg Kemnitz, Senior Engineer from Google Fitbit, to discuss the tech the goes behind. Greg also happens to be the co-creator of the one of the most popular databases in the world, PostGres. He has lived most of his life in silicon valley, like even before it became 'The Silicon Valley' and HBO decided to make a show on it... basically Greg is a Silicon Valley OG! In our very first episode of Info Under the Radar we are going to understand our online presence. What happens behind the scenes with our data, how companies process our data, what about those annoying cookie banners? We are also gonna talk about how people from different cultures think about privacy differently.

We are going to touch on many aspects of our online presence along with our guest Rajat Sharma. Rajat is currently a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at booking.com and lives in Amsterdam. Prior to this, he was living in India where he was working for Zomato, which is India’s leading food delivery startup. He has been interested in the domain of cybersecurity since his college days and has extensive experience in it.

Rajat answered our many questions related to Encryption, what’s the fuss with WhatsApp policy changes, how companies use metadata, and more. He also recommends a few key steps we can take to improve our privacy while browsing online.

We also talked to him about Have I Been Pwned? which is a site to find out if your personal data has been exposed due to data breaches and what to do if our data gets exposed.
