As I mentioned the day iTunes, which has been with us for the last 18 years, has finally had its sunset. Apple didn't leave us out to dry, if anything, did the one logical conclusion; split iTunes into three separate apps.
When I worked in the entertainment industry, you either had a Macintosh or a full Avid editing system for anything video. With the announcement of Apple's new Mac Pro, finally, there's no longer a need to be tied to an AVID workstation. The new Mac Pro and Final Cut, leveraging the real-time ability to edit 8k content will be a total game changer. The ability to add real-time lens fx, color adjustments, or even 3D text, without having to stop and re-render, is right there, revolutionary.
Also, with the new AR toolkit that they have released, and the DevOps tools to allow one team to produce across all three platforms, that's just fantastic!
As mentioned in the podcast, there's a 3rd party company, a foundation that is working towards a gender-neutral voice for all future artificial intelligent speech. Meet Q. In a future Podcast, we'll cover more on this topic. Also There's a movement towards Equal AI but this will be expanded in a future podcast as well.
