If you're in a training situation, then communicate better. Stop trying to act like you're the smartest person there, and you understand everything perfectly the first time. Ask questions and admit that you don't fully understand the way they explain things. Get clarity on things. Not understanding doesn't make you an idiot. Pretending to understand might, though.

If you're at a conference, pick one or two points that really resonate with you and dive deep into those. Listen to the rest and be excited for those one or two main points. The other stuff you can learn later.
