Meet Tamika Farr:

Tamika is Executive director of El Centro de Amistad, a community based mental health organization providing services to low income clients.

She recently received the Heart and Excellence Award in the area Business and Industry from the YWCA Glendale.

She co-chairs the San Fernando Valley Industry and Commerce Non-Profit Committee.

Board of the Association of Community Human Services Agencies.

She was the past Chair of the Pasadena Commission on the Status of Women for 6 years.

Bottom line: From working to eradicate racism to creating programs that empower women and girls, to supporting the mental health of those who need it most in our communities… Tamika is someone who has dedicated her career and her life to helping those in need.

The non-profit world is not an easy one. ….It is an area that takes grit, intelligence, compassion and heart. One must be able to see the big picture and be able to give each individual the detailed attention they deserve.

And with the current landscape of our world, NOW MORE THAN EVER we need leaders who inspire us to be better, not only at our jobs, but as human beings. Tamika is one of those leaders

Meet Christine Teh:

Christine is a personal finance and money coach who helps transform people’s relationship with money so they can achieve their financial goals.

Born and raised in the Philippines, she and her parents immigrated to the US in 2000 just as she was in her last year of college.

Terri is a 25 year veteran of Higher Ed Academia. A highly sought after Public Speaker, a Political Scientist and a consultant to educational technology companies and educational institutions. In February of 2019 she founded The Center for Higher Education Leadership, a portal for professional development for higher education administrators.

Prior to that She was the Provost of Menlo College.

Prior to that she was a Professor in the Government Department at the University of Texas at Austin where she also served as Vice Provost for International Activities and Undergraduate Curriculum as well as founding and directing their Center for European Studies.

She is the author/editor of several books on immigration policy, European politics and security.

And she has a new book coming out called Radical Empathy: Finding a Path to Bridging Racial Divides.

What I love about Terri is how she uses her platform to inspire the next generation of leaders. To provide educational access and opportunities for the people who really deserve them and most of all to provide a blueprint for creating a better world for all of us.
