The Bible uses terms that are not a part of most people's vocabulary. Here is one example,  Forsake: renounce or turn away from entirely, abandon, leave, or quiet.  I hope and believe this reaches you right where you're at.  If you want to be a Christian ( truly) there can't not many choices.  Listen, Learn, and Apply.

The WILL to Repent- Do you enjoy or do you use the dictionary?  In life you may need to know a word (s) meaning. If, that is the case it's a good idea to use a dictionary. 2nd Timothy 2:15  is one of the first Bible texts I learned.  We will explore by choice and desire “ The Will To Repent”.  How serious are you about repentance? Conviction of Sin- You may not know how to repent. Depending on your background, upbringing, and the way you were raised you may never feel convection. Without this “feeling of convection” could make it difficult for a person to repent.  Listen, Learn, Apply.
