A book binder and his wife desperately want a child. They grow old and fall into extreme poverty. One Shabbos they had no food to eat, the wife finds a expensive piece of jewelry, she sells it to purchase foods for Shabbos. During the Shabbos meal they both begin to dance joyfully. The Ball Shem Tov senses their happiness and then meets them and blesses them with a child. The child is named Yisroel, he ends up becoming a Tzaddik named Reb Yisroel, the holy Maggid of Kozhnitz.
