This episode we look into the violent attack that occurred during Miami Pride this past April; where Rene Charlarca and Dmitry Logunov were knocked to the ground and kicked in an attack the couple claims was prompted because they were holding hands.

The incident was caught on CCTV and the 4 attackers have been clearly identified, arrested and charged.

However, the father (Juan Lopez) of one of those involved (Juan Carlos Lopez) says that this incident couldn’t possibly be a hate crime because he, himself, is gay and that he and his partner of 15 years, raised Juan Carlos Lopez.
