Leg length discrepancy (LLD) is an orthopaedic condition that involves a difference in length between the lower extremities. This is a significant medical problem, and the causes may be various trauma, diseases, deformities of the locomotor system, surgery, growth disorders, neurological illness, and others. Statistics have shown that up to 90 per cent of the population has LLD.
