We still can't work out what happened on that now-famous last day in September, as Brisbane somehow completed a three-peat. Was it Wharfie Time, was it Will Ashcroft, was it Alex Pearce? It was a crazy day at the MCG and we piece it all together in our last episode of the season.

We've finally taken a breath after an incredible round of Qualifying and Elimination Finals, which saw Hawthorn and Sydney both produce upset wins for the ages over Fremantle and Brisbane.
It was a bad week for Alastair Clarkson, who got sacked from North Melbourne, and the way that unfolded raised eyebrows.
We discuss Adelaide's win over the Western Bulldogs, which was just what the doctor ordered for coach Matthew Nicks, and plenty of other snippets from an absolutely mind-boggling weekend of AFL action.

The historic first Wildcard Round was massive, but did it deliver on or exceed expectations? We also look ahead to the first (or is it second) week of finals, whether Matthew Nicks is actually under pressure to keep his job, and will the Blues and Dogs be able to back up?
Also on the agenda is whether Freo is able to perform under pressure, how the Swans will cope with their huge outs, and of course the Pendles/Gold Coast bombshell.

It was a massive news day on Monday, and for all the wrong reasons, with the Sydney Swans under immense scrutiny following an alleged sexual assault incident.
We also chatted about the Aussies' Darwin Test disaster, which takes this week's Front Page. Dylan Moore's ill-fated set shot, the pass mark for the Adelaide Crows in 2026 and North Melbourne giving up yet another winning position.

We try to wrap our heads around the latest saga involving Geelong that has smacked the AFL in the face.
We also have questions over Freo's MCG audition, the Dee's heroics, talk about Taylor Walker's retirement announcement on Monday and whether or not Coleman Medallists should automatically enter the All Australian Side.

Josh Fraser guided Carlton to a 76-point thrashing of Brisbane, and that was further evidence to Tyler that he should be Carlton's senior coach going forward. The Commonwealth Games have been run and won, by Australia it seems... We chat about the Aussies dominance, and whether the Games are a bit lacking as a result. Milestone goals to Tex Walker and Jack Gunston had Teaks thinking about an era that could have been for Adelaide, while we also touch on Fremantle's upcoming MCG challenge versus Melbourne, St Kilda, Hawthorn and Sydney.

Fremantle belted Sydney in a second half shellacking, stamping themselves as unrivalled premiership favourites. We wonder, is the MCG their only obstacle in a quest for a maiden premiership?
Tyler has minimal confidence in the Swans after that result, while Teaks thought North Melbourne were incredibly unpolished against Collingwood.
The Snippets: Bazball is officially done, Geelong are the walking wounded, the World Cup is almost over and Cruz Hewitt grabbed Tyler's attention at Wimbledon.
Also, how good is a glass of red on a cold winter's night, and rest in peace Sam Neill.

In bombshell news overseas, England captain Ben Stokes retired mid-test against New Zealand - we chat about it - and where it leaves the famous and flawed 'Bazball'.
Teaks compares Greater Western Sydney, Gold Coast and Tasmania, and why Tasmania looks set up to succeed, while Tyler has huge concerns regarding Sydney, despite its position of second on the AFL ladder.
The Logan Morris 'play-on' decision, the Crows' Showdown loss, Oscar Piastri's Austrian Grand Prix performance and something whacky Teaks saw at halftime of a footy match over the weekend all feature in The Snippets.

Teaks takes responsibility for this week's front page, and it centres on the recent news surrounding the AFL's proposed fixture changes, we discuss what should happen and why.
Why did manager Tony Popovic start the Socceroos two most recent goal scorers on the bench and the USA? Did Melbourne have the two greatest ruckman of all-time on their list at once, and has Teaks changed his tune on Carlton considering Josh Fraser as next year's senior coach?
Richmond, Errol Gulden and Tony Modra all feature in the snippets.

We straighten up and discuss the Crows rise, Fremantle's attempt to stretch their incredible form throughout the entire season, along with the Pies potential $3 million Lachie Neale ploy.
We chat Jordan Dawson and some Formula One in The Snippets, while Teaks got an unpleasant upgrade during the week and Tyler's filthy with a particular habit on the road.
