Nuggets for Spiritual Engagement in the service of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ

In this episode, the necessity of being a disciple of Jesus is highlighted. The connection between fruitfulness and discipleship is mentioned; the conditions for discipleship are expounded on and finally God’s people are urged to take a step of surrender to Jesus.

Jesus spoke about His second coming and the Rapture in Matthew 24. Other passages in Scripture mention both events such as 1 Thessalonians, chapters 4 and 5 and 2 Thessalonians 2. Theologians have different opinions with regards to the timing of the Rapture. Some believe in a pre-tribulation rapture, others in a mid-tribulation rapture and still others on a post-tribulation rapture. Irrespective of the different viewpoints, it is absolutely undeniable that there would be a Rapture and that Jesus is coming back again. The bigger question is, Are you ready for His second coming?

"For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.
