Beware--we're mining beneath the surface to pull up a little sin we often gloss over. That sin is insecurity. It's a sin because if we're insecure, that means we've put our validation into the hands of another authority and not our Maker's. Laurie's got her own insecurities to deal with and wants you to move to the truth faster than she did. Trust in God alone means ... trusting in nothing else to be your source of security. Humans will fail us every time.
