January 03, 2025 NY Giants Lose If They Win, Brian Daboll To Stay Or Will Be Fired, And Who Could The Next Coach Be?
Inside BBI with John and Eric take a look at this weekend’s game with the Eagles and why this game should be anything but a win. The Eagles will be playing their backups and backups to backups and the Giants should NOT try to win at ball costs here.
Why a NY Giants win would not only be a false statement about the team and the coaching staff but how it could harm the Giants in the 2025 draft. Do the Giants get a shot at Sanders and Ward or do they knock themselves out of contention with a meaningless win against an Eagles team that quite frankly wants to hurt the Giants going forward more than they do in just one single game.
Who are the three coaches that John and Eric think could be on the Giants radar if they fire Brian Daboll? Do you go with a Head Coaching retread, or do you go with a first-time candidate with huge potential but not much else to hang your hat on? Where does past affiliation come into play (Spags) and what about guys with a connection to Joe Schoen?
So much to talk about heading into the final game of the 2025 season.

December 31, 2024 NY Giants Win, The Sports Equivalent of Getting Socks For Xmas! #football #NFL #sports
Inside BBI with John and Eric take a look back at the NY Giants 45-33 victory over the Indianapolis Colts. The Brian Daboll coached NY Giants managed 45 points after averaging just over 14 pts a game up to that point. Malik Nabers continued to show why he was a high 1st rd draft pick with 7 recs for 171 yds and 2 tds. Nabers now has 104 rec on the season for over 1140 yds and 6 tds. Drew Lock had a big game throwing 4 TD passes and running in another.
The look back also includes why so many fans are upset with the Giants victory- including the fact that the Giants went from the first pick in the draft to the 4th pick currently. Did this win cost the Giants a shot at QB's Shadeur Sanders or Cam Ward? Will this win force the Giants to spend extra picks in a trade up come April if they want Sanders or Ward?
If the Giants go veteran QB could that be Derek Carr, Kirk Cousins, Carson Wentz or even Andy Dalton? The discussion delves into the possibilities (whatever scraps are left available) and quite frankly the disappointments.
Where do the Giants go from here? Is Joe Schoen coming back- it certainly appears so. Is Brian Daboll gone or will John Mara want to roll this whole thing back one more time with the Schoen/Daboll combo? If the Giants do move on from Daboll , could be the next coach of the Giants be Vrabel, Johnson, Smith or even Mike McCarthy?

December 23, 2024 John Mara - What Are You Going To Do To Fix This? #nfl #nygiants #football #sports
John and Eric break down the latest from the NY Giants after another epically bad loss - a record 10th straight loss - in a season full of disappointment. The Giants played like they always do, small, poorly and with little to no answer to what the opposition is doing.
The discussion focuses on the Giants coaching staff led by Head Coach Brian Daboll and the General Manager Joe Schoen. What has gone wrong and what those two are responsible for. The questions covered:
Can we count on them to pick the next QB of the NY Giants?
Would the Giants just be coming back with a lame duck coach?
What has Schoen done to say he should stay if Daboll gets fired?
Then we look at the Quarterback situation with a focus on Shadeur Sanders and Cam Ward. But, are the Giants going to take the right guy for the franchise of just the guy who everyone is talking about? Where does Shadeur rate if his name was anything but Sanders?
Lots of talk about the now with a much bigger eye on the future. What should John Mara do (besides stop meddling) about Schoen and Daboll and the direction of the organization? The Giants celebrated 100 years with their most disappointing and embarrassing seasons ever!

Inside BBI with John and Eric – Special Guest Dave Syvertsen
of Ourlads Scouting! John and welcome back special guest Dave Syvertsen of
Ourlads Scouting to the show. The three of them take a look at the mess that is
the NY Giants 2024 season. Will the NY Giants FIRE Brian Daboll? Will the NY
Giants fire Joe Schoen or will they both be gone? What would be the reason for
keeping one of them or both of them?
John, Eric and SY take a look at the 2025 NFL Draft and
specifically the 2025 QB draft class (including those QB’s that are returning
to school – Nussmeier and Allar). Is Sheduer Sanders worth the hype and high
pick or is Cam Ward (Miami, Fla) the guy the Giants should be targeting? Do the
Giants get the #1 or #2 pick and if so, is it a forgone conclusion that the NY
Giants will go QB there? What does Sy think of that and who else could be had
there?
The talk around the Giants and about the Giants continues to
be negative but, is there a silver lining out there. Could this be a faster
turn around than some people think?

stand right now, the general feeling coming out of 1925 Giants Way and what
they think John Mara and the NY Giants will do and what they (John and Eric)
believe they should do.
John and Eric also take the temperature of the fanbase
(yikes we are in fever induced hallucinations territory) as well as the overall
malaise that has settled in. Are the NY Giants trusting in the 100 years of Ny
Giants football and fandom a bit too much in today’s faster paced, trendy and
speedy world?
John and Eric with their 3 questions to each other (none of
which was shared beforehand). What questions have they come up with and what
were the answers.
Quick recap pf the week so far and a score card for anyone
who is watching the game Sunday as the NY Giants will be wielding out a game
day roster more fitting of the Spring Training Invite List of the
fictional Cleveland Indians from the movie Major League (see the intro).

November 25, 2024 Giants Had A Good Week Of Practice - Lose 30 -7 ! #sports #nfl #football #nygiants #billbelichick
Inside BBI with John and Eric is back. Today's episode - Giants Had A Good Week Of Practice - Lose 30 -7 !
Is Daboll losing the team after this epically bad loss? The team was listless and unspired and afterward plenty of players called out the NY Giants for lack of toughness and not going all out.
Where do Daboll and Schoen stand with John Mara and does that mean these next few games are a loot point or must wins and must improve?
Who could be on the Giants radar for the coaching job if Daboll is let go?
- Bill Belicheck
- Mike Vrabel
- Others?
