From one MVP to another. This week, two-time NBA MVP Steve Nash is on the show. Steve played 18 seasons in the NBA including time with the Phoenix Suns, Dallas Mavericks, and Los Angeles Lakers. And while you know him as one of the greatest point guards of all-time, Steve grew up dreaming of playing professional soccer. Jordan and Larry go over Steve's soccer past and present (he currently is a co-owner of the Vancouver Whitecaps and La Liga's RCD Mallorca). They do a deep dive into Steve's playing career. After the Supervisor's interview, Max and Vince return to talk about conversations they had with Bob Bradley and John Thorrington this week on the state of the team.

The guys talk with Carlos for over an hour and topics range from family to travel to, of course, football.

But right off the top, Carlos has a huge announcement for the guys. We found out just a little bit ago that Carlos and his wife were expecting their second child. Jordan and Larry congratulate Carlos and ask if he wants to have a boy or a girl.

This week on the Max + Vince Podcast, Fox Sports lead soccer play-by-play announcer John Strong joins us. John is at the forefront of American voices calling football matches and he's one of the nicest people in the business, not to mention he tells great stories. Max & Vince welcome the radio Voice of LAFC Dave Denholm from ESPNLA 710. Like all of you, we've missed Dave's LAFC goal calls and when it comes to historians of MLS, there's no one better than Dave. He shares his early stories cover MLS and his first MLS match. After that, it's story after story of MLS in the old days with Dave and Max. We've come a long way since those early days but the guys are all so happy they were a part of something special.
