- Largest Refugee Area
Most of the refugees come from the southern areas and southern suburbs of Beirut (Dahiyeh):

• South Lebanon airstrikes and ground operations.
• Beirut & Mount Lebanon : Public schools, sports halls, and even open fields in Beirut have been converted into emergency shelters that are now beyond capacity.
• Bekaa Valley : This eastern region also experienced a large wave of refugees due to attacks on logistics warehouses.
