College interns from five municipal departments share how their summer experiences are shaping their future careers. Hear from interns in the Police, Social Services, Planning, Treasury and Public Information offices as they discuss their work, what they’ve learned and how local government is making an impact.

Lebanon Police Department about the rise in scams targeting older adults, including impersonation schemes such as IRS fraud and the “grandparent scam.” The discussion highlights why older adults are frequently targeted, common tactics used by scammers to build trust and the emotional and financial impact of fraud. Officials also outline key warning signs, including pressure to act quickly, requests for gift card or cryptocurrency payments, unsolicited remote computer access and requests for personal information.
