THE FRIAR'S LANTERN - Greg Hickey

You may win $1,000,000.

You will judge a man of murder.

An eccentric scientist tells you he can read your mind and offers to prove it in a high-stakes wager. A respected college professor exacts impassioned, heat-of-the-moment revenge on his wife's killer—a week after her death—and you're on the jury.

Take a Turing test with a twist, discover how your future choices might influence the past, and try your luck at Three Card Monte. And while you weigh chance, superstition, destiny, intuition and logic in making your decisions, ask yourself: are you responsible for your actions at all?

So choose wisely—if you can.

Author Kedma Ough is an inspiration. Although she is now a leading force in the business world, with numerous awards (such as the SBA’s Small Business Champion of the Year) and accolades under her belt, Ough had a very rocky start. After fleeing an abusive relationship and finding herself utterly destitute, sleeping on friends’ sofas, in her car, and in an illegal, cockroach-infested basement, she found herself without means to pay for college. She wrote a letter to God, vowing that if she were to be awarded a scholarship, she would use her education and abilities to help others for the rest of her life.

True to her word, Ough went on to become a nationally renowned business coach and funding thought leader as well as an adviser to independent inventors. Dubbed the “small business superhero,” she has used her extraordinary depth of knowledge of financial funding opportunities to help more than 10,000 entrepreneurs achieve their business dreams. TARGET FUNDING is the printed fulfillment of her earlier promise.
