Last night, I got hit HAAAARD with the “imposter syndrome” and a slew of other “limiting beliefs” that previously have stopped me in my tracks. This time, I handled it differently and this recording is me reflecting on what happened, how I moved through it differently than I ever have before, and an overall “atta girl” for still showing up. This exploration and experiment is exactly that and I can’t say for sure where I’m going or what’s going to come up, but I do know for sure that speaking about it is going to be part of it.
Topics Covered:
Summarized by AI
* The Cycle of Starting and Stopping – Noticing the familiar pattern of excitement, followed by self-doubt and resistance when sharing openly.
* The Loud Inner Critic – Thoughts like “People are tired of you,” “You can’t talk about activism,” and “You always quit” surfacing after posting.
* Interoception & Proprioception – Using these senses to tune into the body and move through emotional resistance without forcing solutions.
* Letting Emotions Process Themselves – Instead of trying to fix or clear them, simply observing and allowing them to shift naturally.
* Energy Flow & Self-Healing – Understanding that resistance is just unintegrated energy, and trusting that it will reintegrate if given space.
* The Role of Daily Practices – How breathwork, meditation, and other embodiment work build the capacity to handle emotional waves.
* When to Use Techniques vs. When to Just Witness – The ongoing question of when tools like EFT are helpful versus when they become another form of control.
* Tapping & the Nervous System – How EFT works on the brain and body, and the realization that the words used in tapping may not be as important as the sensations.
* Creative Expression & Fear of Judgment – The challenge of sharing authentically without overthinking how it will be received.
* Self-Help vs. Just Living – Moving beyond the endless cycle of fixing and instead focusing on simply being and responding in the moment.
* The Shift in Approach to Learning & Certifications – Recognizing that another course or program isn’t always necessary, and integrating what’s already been learned.
* Building Resilience & Capacity – How real-life experiences of navigating self-doubt contribute to inner strength over time.
* Feeling Ancestors Through the Body – A growing sense of connection to ancestral support in moments of challenge.
* Expanding Awareness of Sensory Experience – How paying attention to interoception and proprioception can shift anxiety and presence.
* Grounding Through the Senses – A simple practice of naming things seen, heard, and felt to return to the present moment.
Final Thoughts:
This episode was a real-time exploration of working through resistance, allowing emotions to move, and trusting the body's process. No neat conclusions—just sharing the experience as it unfolds.
