In honour of black history month, the Inside Out gang sit down to talk about how the month came to be, along with Canada and its relationship with black history. Listen to S, A, and F rant about Canada’s ridiculous portrayal as the “saviour” of slaves migrating from the United States, and how little the education system really teaches about black history. Just six days after the clock struck midnight and welcomed 2021, the United States was preparing to confirm Joe Biden as the president elect. That plan however, would momentarily be put on hold as the US capitol was breached and ransacked.
