Inside TBT

Ever said to yourself, "I should be running this team?" Of course! Every fan has. Bryan Hurley and his brother, Chris, put words to action and went from fans of TBT 2014 to running their own team --HBC (Hurley Basketball Club)--in 2015. Looking forward to TBT 2016, the Hurleys look to build on the success of last year and take their squad as far as they can.

On this episode, we speak with Jeff Nordgaard of the Sconnie Legends. The boys from Wisconsin have played in TBT twice, in 2014 and 2015, when they narrowly missed out on a trip to the Round of 16 and national TV on ESPNU.

Team 23's leading man, Davin White, joins us to discuss TBT 2015, his motivations for playing basketball all over the world, his disappointment at not making the NBA (yet!), and more!

On this episode, TBT speaks with Jay Devlin and Morgan Barclay of Mostly Sports and Jesse Leeds of TBT.

Kieran Piller, the GM of the Notre Dame Fighting Alumni, joins TBT to discuss their 2014 Championship, how the team came together, 2015's disappointing result, and what we can expect to see from the Fighting Alumni going forward.

On this Throwback Edition, Kevin Josey, GM and Shooting Guard of Triumph (NYC) speaks with us over Google Hangout. The first player to show up to the gym in 2014, Josey is a worker with a dream and his enthusiasm for the game comes through loud and clear in this interview.

The Hoopville Warriors's F Rico Hill is a leader on and off the court. A Chicago native, Rico tells TBT about the challenges he faced growing up, tough decisions he made to support his family, and his own decision to stop playing professionally overseas.

On this throwback podcast, we hear from Work On Your Game's Dre Baldwin, a multi-talented digital media star and basketball player who has made a career out of his talent for giving straight-forward, no BS advice to anyone looking to improve his basketball skills.

Dre tells us about his disappointment in not qualifying for TBT 2014 and how he regrouped and vowed to participate with his squad, WOYG, in TBT 2015.

On this edition of TBT's Podcast, we hear from Garrett Martz, the GM of 2015 TBT Semifinalist ANTS ALUMNI. Ants Alumni brought together the 2014 NBA D-League Champions for another run at a championship. Although the Alumni didn't win TBT, they had a great experience and learned a lot about what TBT is like.

Later, we hear from TBT's Jesse Leeds, who's got some great inside information about college alumni teams that he's hearing could be forming in TBT's Northeast Region in 2016.

On this throwback edition of TBT's Podcast we hear from Eric Fischer, GM of the Jaboni Project. TBT first interviewed Eric back in April of 2015 over a Google Hangout (check out our YouTube page for more of those: YouTube.com/tbtbasketball).

Now a 3rd year law student at Georgetown, Eric tells us why he was motivated to start a professional basketball team despite having no connections or involvement in the game aside from being a fan.
