This week we speak with a senior in our theatre class who is technically NOT in the theatre class! Join as we learn more about Lexi! While Lexi has been involved with our program over the last three years, she couldn't join the theatre class because it was full. So she did what any other resourceful person does when they want to be in the class even though it's full. She became a TA! This week Lexi talks about her journey through theatre, her time in the dance program and her life as a Dougherty Valley cheerleader!

He shaved his head for a role. He loves Safeway sushi. It has been mentioned that he may or may not be able to do a backflip. Join us this week as we speak with Mausam about his adventures in the DVHS Drama Program! He has worked both onstage and backstage and provides an interesting perspective on life not only in the drama room, but also at DVHS in general.

This week we are speaking with one of the newest students in the DV Drama Class! Jah is a senior who is new to DVHS. Join us we learn about his thoughts about Dougherty, his exposure to a class that he thought he would never take, and, of course, his hoops game!

We have a special guest this week! Normally, we interview seniors in our DV Drama program, but this week we get to speak to an alumnus who is coming back to visit, Jess Panganiban! Join us as Jess shares her post high school journey, her thoughts about college, Dougherty Valley, her time in the drama program as a stage manager, and how all of that allows her to make money at school doing something that she truly enjoys! We missed recording an episode last week due to the end of the quarter, but this episode definitely makes up for that!

He's in theatre, he's in band, he's in choir, and he also claims to be an athlete. Join us this week as we interview Aaron about his time in the theatre arts program. Hear about what got him involved, why his entire personality is based on food, why he prefers to be called "Alice" while in the drama room, and defend himself when asked why an "athlete" has difficulty carrying a smaller person off stage!

This week we have a special episode of Inside the DV Drama Room. We take a look back at our first production of the show in 2011 with cast member Taylor Kim! Taylor was a sophomore when she was tasked with bringing Romaine Patterson's life to the Dougherty Valley audiences. Listen in as we talk about her experience in this production, the impact that it had on her, and her advice for our current cast members.

This week we talk to the current Vice President of the Drama Club, Riyana! Riyana has been involved with the drama program since her freshman year and has worked both on and off stage. Last year she served as the stage manager for our fall production and our musical. This year, she is back on stage in our current production of The Laramie Project. Join us as we hear about Riyana's theatrical journey, what the future has in store for her, and her contribution to the collection of ducks in the performing arts center!

Join us as we speak with Isha as she discusses her love of film, her fondness for students from Texas, and how she will break any rule to make a late night run to McDonald's!

It's the end of the school year and our final episode! This week, we started a little earlier in the day and have invited our Theatre Arts 1 class to join the podcast! In this episode, we have two co-hosts to help with the interviews. Akash and Fiona (two officers for next year) ask some members of the class questions to learn more about the person and the class.
