Lauren has been a part of the drama program since her freshman year and has been a vocal advocate for not only theatre, but all arts programs on campus. Join us as we learn about her journey through the drama program, how taking no AP classes still led to admission to 4-year colleges, her time in Leadership, and how she plans to spend her future helping others. She's been doing theatre a long time. She was a quiet freshman in Theatre 1. She's also been in choir since her freshman year. While the last name may have changed once she got married, what hasn't changed is just how wonderful a person Alliah is! We are back from break! This week we have a very special guest on our podcast. Alyssa Villareal is an alumnus of Dougherty Valley and was in the drama class during her senior year (which was cut short due to the COVID pandemic). She went on to study at NYU and has created a nice career for herself. She is currently a cast member of the Broadway musical The Outsiders! Join us as we learn about her path in the performing arts, her journey in New York, and some reminiscing about the first time we worked together on The King and I.

It's the end of the first semester! This week we interview one of our DV Drama Officers, Natalie! This week we speak with a senior in our theatre class who is technically NOT in the theatre class! Join as we learn more about Lexi! While Lexi has been involved with our program over the last three years, she couldn't join the theatre class because it was full. So she did what any other resourceful person does when they want to be in the class even though it's full. She became a TA! This week Lexi talks about her journey through theatre, her time in the dance program and her life as a Dougherty Valley cheerleader!

He shaved his head for a role. He loves Safeway sushi. It has been mentioned that he may or may not be able to do a backflip. Join us this week as we speak with Mausam about his adventures in the DVHS Drama Program! He has worked both onstage and backstage and provides an interesting perspective on life not only in the drama room, but also at DVHS in general.
