Catrena is currently a graduate student in the University of Maryland’s School of Pharmacy program in Cannabis Science and Therapeutics. This is the first accredited program in the country dedicated to the science of cannabis from a scientific, clinical and therapeutic perspective.

This week, we've got an interview with Maryland native: Otha Smith, III. Otha was born in Lothian, Md located in beautiful Southern Anne Arundel County. An entrepreneur at an early age, he started his first business, Aggressive Detailing LLC, while still in high school. Aggressive Detailing grew to provide on-site detailing services to residential and commercial customers and created long term contractual agreements with car dealerships and Marina’s throughout Maryland, DC and Virginia area. While growing this business, He graduated from Bowie State University with a degree in Business Marketing.

This week, we’ve got an interview with Professor Shad Ewart.

Shad Ewart is chair of the Department of Business Management and professor at Anne Arundel Community College. In 2018, he proposed the subject,  Entrepreneurial Opportunities in Emerging Markets: Marijuana Legalization, a program with the goal of preparing students for entry-level jobs in the medical cannabis industry. Ewart also proposed a multidisciplinary 16-credit program, in which students would graduate with a certificate. Its formal name is the Medical Cannabis Specialist program.

This week - I’ve got an interview with Ashley Wynn-Grimes, trainer and registered nurse of over 12 years and creator of Cannabis Nursing Solutions, which provides strategies to patients seeking alternative and holistic solutions to manage chronic illness.

Ashley is also the Chair of the Cannabis Patients Advocacy Association - The Cannabis Patient Advocacy Association is a patient-focused organization developing strategies and solutions to challenges in cannabis patient markets through actionable items in line with our mission of unity, collaboration and action.
