On our 16th episode of Inside the Triple F, We take you to the 'Wrench n in the Garage 5'.

5 car lifts, lots of gear heads and your skills and parts. This makes for a really cost effective way to update your vehicle.  Stadium Automotive was our gracious host.  They provided technical support and tools and other various equipment.  This was a fun event even if you didn't have a car to work on.  Just being able to talk with other gear heads is always fun.  Yes we got some great interviews to share with you.

On our 15th episode of Inside the Triple F, We take you to the 2017 LA Auto Show.

 We will also discuss all the cool Fabulous Fords Forever 2018 planning for the month of October and November. 

From November 30 to December 9th were the days you could have attended the LA Auto Show at the L.A. Convention center.  If you would like to attend the 2018 show. Show dates are Nov 30 to Dec 9th 2018.

This was our 2nd attendance to the LA Auto Show and we were not disappointed. The glitz from the auto manufactures was once again impressive. The cars on display were purely art and function.

The only thing we were not impressed by was the food.   But hey it's a convention center. Be sure to check out the pictures on our Facebook page as you listen to the episode where we talk about some of the notable cars.  We were so strapped for time this year we didn't have a chance to test drive any cars. But we know it is a great way to see what innovations the manufactures are coming up with.

On our 14th episode of Inside the Triple F, we head back to Costa Mesa for the 2017 Cruisin for a Cure 18th Annual car show on September 23.

Cruisin for a Cure is one of the largest car shows we've even been too. And it just keeps getting more and more impressive. I think it's because of the theme of the show. Prostate Cancer awareness. The subject might be heavy but the mood is light and friendly. One of the key parts of the show is the ability for men to get a free screening PSA and DRE tests there at the show. 

Debbie Baker started Cruisin for a cure back in 1998 when her husband was diagnosed with Prostate cancer.  The show was created to get men into an environment where they have fun and feel comfortable to take the test and perhaps save their lives.  Debbie has a big heart and a show stopping golf cart she rides around in at the show.  

Some fun facts about the show

They average 815 tests during the 1 day show.

Around 3500 show vehicles

About 20000 to 25000 spectators

And my favorite part is the 1.5 mile cruise around the show complex.  That's right you can drive your car around the show during the show. I think they are the only ones that do this.

Just like Fabulous Fords Forever this is a Volunteer run car show.  So thumbs up to all the volunteers that put on that show because we know these huge car shows take a lot of effort.   

We also have a great interview for you. Bob Lee talks about his 57 Ford 2 door 300 Custom.  From High School love to the drag strip to show car to getting crunched to premium show car once again this car has seen it all.

On our 13th episode of Inside the Triple F, we review a fun event for the second year in a row: The 2017 Nitto Auto Enthusiast Day, held at Angels Stadium in Anaheim.

After the 2017 Fabulous Fords Forever show, we are on vacation from Council stuff and have time to attend some really cool car shows. The Nitto event gives us a chance to check out some hot cars and trucks as well as catch up with some friends from our show.

Nitto is involved with a lot of automotive apps to supplement their social media content:

• Driving Line Weekly – A weekly subscription, gets you news and information from around the automotive community and racing news.

The Nitto Enthusiast event hosts a Drift Exhibition, Car Show, and TONS of vendors to see.  There were lots of vehicles on display in the vendor booths as well as plenty of parts and accessories to view.

On our 12th episode of Inside the Triple F, We take you to the CONCOURS DE NICE.  This was a hidden gem of a car show. It's been going on for 20 yrs!  Who knew?

 We will also discuss all the cool Fabulous Fords Forever 2017 participant generated videos on the internet. There are a ton of videos to watch. I watched a few and left some comments because I felt they really touched on the Ford Friends and Family feels.

We also attended the 5 Annual Shelby Carroll Shelby Tribute and car show.  May 20, 2017 from 9AM to 3PM.  in Glendora, CA  The special guest was Don 'The Snake' Purdone.  With his Race winning Rail. Back in the day when the engine was in front of the driver.

'Concours De Nice' - Celebrating the Evolution of the Ford GT. Grand Marshal John Clinard. June 11th Costa Mesa, CA  This car show and presentation featured Camilo Pardo Chief designer of the Ford GT for the 2005 and 2006 models.

2017 Fabulous Fords Forever

On our 11th episode of Inside the Triple F, we will continue with our April behind the scenes look at the Fabulous Fords Forever car show.  Its Show Time!  

 The 2017 Fabulous Fords Forever show was a huge success !  We give our impressions of the how the show went. Talk about the sponsors, the celebrities, book signings, Media coverage, Live guitar shredding and so much more.   

It was so cool to meet Sebastien Bourdais. I just wish I could have spent more time talking with him.

On our 10th episode of Inside the Triple F, we will continue with our March behind the scenes look at the Fabulous Fords Forever car show, with the show just around the corner we share our expectations!

Also on this episode we will also take you with us as we attend the 10th Annual Concorso Ferrari Old Pasadena!  This car show was held in Pasadena on April 23, 2017. Celebrates the 70th anniversary of the Ferrari. Located on three blocks of Colorado Boulevard between Pasadena and Reymond avenues in Old Town Pasadena. It was sponsored by the Ferrari Club of America SW Region and the endorsed by the Ferrari Club of America. Around 140 cars were on display and for one lucky girl she got to sit in one of these exquisite piece of machinery.  The Best cars in 10 classes won awards as being the best of the best.    If you want to put your car in the show for next year.

On our 9th episode of Inside the Triple F, we will continue our behind the scenes look at the Fabulous Fords Forever car show, keeping you up-to-date with our show preparations, as we near the finish line for the show!

Also on this episode we will also take you with us as we attend the 68th Annual Grand National Roadster show!  This car show was held at the Fairplex in Pomona on Jan 27-29, 2017.  We attended this show with some good friends and we had a blast.  There were literally TONS of cool cars to see, from mild to wild!  Since we're celebrating Ford Flatheads at FFF, we saw a lot of great looking examples here, including a specialty vendor featuring goodies for Flatheads.  Check out the pictures on our Facebook and Instagram feeds.
