The Inside the Loop boys sit down with potential Heisman Trophy winner, D'Eriq King. D'Eriq shares stories and trials he's faced in his life that have helped shape the man he is today. Our conversations covered a lot of ground like getting in trouble with his older brother, running the score up in little league football, going from 8th string to 1st string QB in high school and what his favorite part of game days are. We hope to make some more people D'Eriq King fans after this episode.

We sit down with owner and head chef of True Craft Market, Bryant Reckling, to talk about what it means and takes to run a small business. We hit a lot of topics with our sit down with Bryant which includes where he found his passion for food, his short move to Australia, the process of opening up TCM and what TCM's mission is as a small, local Houston restaurant and market.

Ian Gibaut, right-handed pitcher for the Texas Rangers, sits down with us to discuss the road to the show as well as the stories that come with that journey. We talk about not making varsity baseball until his senior year of high school, throwing 96 MPH and becoming the closer at Tulane as a Freshman, getting drafted, enduring the minor league life and his time thus far in the MLB. He also etches his name into the Inside the Loop podcast history books as our first "blue check mark guest".

Gabriel Solis, founder and head trainer at SJ Training, joins the podcast to hangout and share his story. We talk about what it was like growing up on the Eastside of Houston, Texas, the time a group of men broke in and robbed Gabriel's house, how SJ Training started and how he runs the business.

Chris Wernette joins the podcast as our first ever guest interview. Chris serves as the Head Roaster and Director of Wholesale & Distribution at Pinewood Roasters in Waco, Texas. We talk about what life was like growing up in the Wernette family, accidentally pantsing kids at the playground, how Chris ended up in the coffee industry, what he does at Pinewood and where coffee is taking him in the future.
