This episode will be a ‘Part A’ for the week, focusing on the Intimidator races and interviews with winners from the International and Euro top splits. ‘Part B’ later in the week will take a look back at the first two rounds of the Sudspeed MEC, and will also feature a chat with the lead MEC broadcaster. We might even take a look at some new Iracing Season 2 build updates that will impact the MEC as well.
This week, we have got our Floridian hats firmly on with a look back at the opening round of the Majors Series (the Daytona 2.4 IMSA race), a look ahead to Round 2 (also at Daytona, but this time the oval with the Intimidator race in the NASCAR 87s) and a great chat with some Majors Series regulars about their time at the Real Daytona 24 this year.
We also found some time to run through some common questions and insights useful for people ahead of the opening MEC race, the Silverstone 6 hour, discussing team management, how pre-Q works, driver rankings and much more!
Joined by Majors driver, race director and broadcaster Bryant Lucas, we run through everything you need to know to ensure you are set to go for the races this weekend. Registrations, race requirements, safety car process, we talk through it all so you know what is what.
Oh, and we confirmed that MEC registrations are opening on Monday 13 Jan…JUST A TOUCH EXCITED!!!!
Mike and I ran through the most common questions form the discord channels relating to the Sudspeed Blackout this weekend, and also shared some news on broadcasting of the top split, some extra ways people can earn Blackout coins (they look amazing!) plus a couple of website updates ahead of 2025.
Reminder too the Sudspeed Blackout team endurance race registrations are open and pre-qualifying is not too far away, so get your teams in and get practicing!
Enjoy listening to Tom Dreiling and Jake Fox, both have been around the series a long time and were a pleasure to chat too about all things Majors.
This episode, Mike joins us with the first of a string of announcements for the 2025 Majors Series. Plus, we catch up with the two title contenders in Atlantic Pro ahead of the final round - Formula Majors.

Contains the draft rules as well. Would love to hear community feedback on anything in the rules that raised questions.
Big Thanks to our two former Majors Series champions who joined me to review the trial Live Admin process form the Formula ford Festival, discussing what worked, what could be improved, and what the admin structures might look like in 2025.
This week we've got an interview with somebody that I know a lot of people have been waiting to hear from, Christian Challiner, the GOAT as far as Major Series is concerned! We chat about how he got started, what are the sorts of things that he enjoys racing, and also what he does day to day for employment, which I think everybody will want to hear about!
After that, we'll be talking about this coming weekend's round, the Formula Ford Festival at the Brands Hatch Indy, including the introduction of a live admin back into the Major Series.
Also discussed were a few topics around the Majors Endurance Championship for 2025, which the Sudspeed Blackout event is also a test event for. Rules and event page for Blackout are now live on the Majors Series website
