  • The Mystic Path to Cosmic Power | The Book That Changed My Life
In this episode, I talk about the single most impactful book I've ever read: The Mystic Path to Cosmic Power by Vernon Howard.
    In this talk I explore:
-Why this book hit me differently than anything else and how it exposes the mechanics of the ego.
-The connection between Vernon Howard and Anthony De Mello’s Awareness.
-Reflections on Shree Rajneesh (Osho) and other spiritual teachers who help dissolve the ego.
Vernon Howard’s teaching feels surgical, Anthony De Mello’s feels compassionate, and Osho’s approach is provocative. Different styles, same invitation: Wake up from the illusion of ego.
If you’ve ever felt drawn toward awareness, self-inquiry, or the possibility that who you think you are might not be the whole story, you'll enjoy this episode.
    Thanks for watching!

  • Self-Inquiry for Dummies
A simple, practical introduction to self-inquiry. Learn how to explore ego, awareness, and the sense of self through direct experience and everyday life.
Self-inquiry is the practice of turning attention inward and asking questions like:
Who am I? or, WHAT am I?
What is it that’s aware of this moment?
What is this “me” that feels like it’s deciding, choosing, and controlling life?
When you look for this “me,” something interesting happens. You'll find that the "me" you are looking for is the one doing the looking. And then, resting as the "one doing the looking" you realize that looking is just whats happening. No one is doing it.
That feeling of “I’m doing this” is part of what people call the ego. It's an identification with the body/mind/and actions of whatever it is that is occurring.
This is something you can practice while sitting, listening, breathing, working, or even feeling frustrated.
If you’re interested in meditation, non-duality, sobriety, or simply understanding your inner experience a little more clearly, feel free to like, subscribe, or leave a comment.

  • The Meditative Life Then | Sobriety, A.A. , and Enlightenment
In this episode, I share what my life was like before, during, and after a spiritual awakening that occurred while I was sober and active in Alcoholics Anonymous.
At 27 years old, two years sober, and deeply immersed in A.A./12 Steps, something happened that completely altered how I experienced reality. While working in a warehouse listening to music, the sense of “me” collapsed. Time, identity, and space dissolved, revealing an unmistakable unity of self, other, and existence itself.
In this talk, I reflect on:
Life before awakening: addiction, avoidance, and chasing what feels good.
Early sobriety and how I used the 12 Steps as a way to manage discomfort.
The spiritual experience that changed my relationship to thought, emotion, and identity.
Why I suddenly began seeing thoughts instead of being lost in them.
How this experience was misunderstood in A.A. and why it concerned others.
The absence of language, framework, or teachers at the time.
The years that followed: creativity, self-creation, and eventual collapse.
Why existential despair came after awakening, not before.
This is not a teaching, a prescription, or a claim of enlightenment. It’s a personal reflection on sobriety, awareness, and what happens when insight arrives without a container to hold it.
If you’re interested in meditation, non-duality, recovery, or the intersection between spirituality and real life, this conversation is for you.
👉 If this is your first time here, you may want to watch the previous episode to understand what daily life looks like now, without peak experiences.

  • The Meditative Life Now | Choiceless Awareness
This conversation centers on choiceless awareness: the recognition that there is no personal will, or control, and that everything—thoughts, emotions, actions, reactions—is arising spontaneously on its own.
    I talk about:
Life before awakening and why revisiting that contrast is important.
How recovery, 12-step work, and gratitude shaped my relationship to suffering.
Why meditation is not something you do, but something that’s already happening.
What it means to rest as consciousness itself—without effort, discipline, or belief.
How seeing the illusion of free will naturally softens judgment and resistance.
Why this recognition doesn’t eliminate emotions, but instead loosens their grip over time.
This dialogue is less about philosophy and more about direct experience. Nothing shared needs to be believed, or agreed with, intellectually. It’s an invitation to notice what’s already happening—internally and externally—and to explore what it’s like to simply relax into being.
In the next episode, I’ll share the full story of what life was like before, during, and after my waking-up experience.
If you have questions, or want me to clarify something, please let me know in the comments—I’m happy to take another crack at it.

  • Everquest XP w/ Blastoff (Raidbuilder) Ep. 9
Blastoff designed a tool for Everquest called Raidbuilder. The web based application automatically creates raids based on priority group composition, collects and distributes DKP, and affords its users the ability to bid on loot in a seamless, user friendly way (among many other things!).
His application has saved us countless hours and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to make their guilding loot lives easier.
Check out the website and set yourself up here: https://raidbuilder.app/Home
Also! Blastoff shares his early days of Everquest, how he plays the game today, and his experience creating Raidbuilder.

  • Everquest XP w/ Tomias (Batphones & Bros) Ep. 8
In Everquest, the world is populated with powerful gods and dragons. These creatures usually spawn in a 12-72 hour window and if killed, drop the most powerful treasures in the game.
It takes a well coordinated group of up to 72 players to bring the beasts down (less if the players are well geared and skilled.)
Tomias mans the batphone in our guild. He tracks when these creatures spawn, and alerts all 995 of us when they appear.
It’s an important position because all of the other guilds in the game are trying to kill these creatures & if we don’t get there quick, another group will show up and try to get all the treasures!
In todays ep, Tomias shares his experience manning the batphone, taking down high level raid mobs with his brother, and his early days of Everquest play.
