A beloved tradition for OSD seniors is to take a walk through their former elementary schools. Today we’re going along to Brooklyn Elementary to hear about this memorable experience from one of our seniors. We'll also talk with Principal Pliner about end of year festivities and hear his advice for seniors and families during these last days of the school year.

This past Sunday 20-30 goats were released in the forest area adjacent to Oregon Middle School as part of a forest restoration project! The goats are clearing invasive species and presenting an amazing learning opportunity for our students. Today we're talking with the project coordinators and some students to hear about how it's going. Each year, 7th grade students at Oregon Middle School participate in hands-on team learning experiences that take them outside the classroom. One of those experiences is called the Urban Challenge. Today we’re going to learn all about this experience from one of the Challenge organizers, Kelly Manzeck, and some students who recently completed the challenge.

It takes a keen eye and a robust skill set to build a home. In today's episode, Dr. Bergstrom heads to the construction site to hear from OHS construction teacher, Chris Prahl, to learn about the educational process for his students. We also hear from some of the students on the experience and where they hope to go from here.
