On the eighteenth episode of Inside the Park from Babson Park, I was joined by former Babson ace and current Northeastern pitcher Jordy Allard. Jordy was a Division III First Team All-American this past season and he knows and loves pitching as much as anyone I’ve met. His time coaching little leaguers as well as his dominance on the field made him a prime interview candidate for me and I was super excited to ask him questions about his leadership style, his days as a transfer student, and what gives him success on the mound. I welcome Jack back as my first repeat guest on Inside the Park and for the eighteenth episode of my sports business podcast, we talked about the summer we spent as baseball operations employees for the Chatham Anglers. Throughout the summer we spent hours and hours sorting through spray charts, heat maps, pitch sequences, and video to give the players and coaches as much data as we could in order to give us any edge possible. Although the season did not end in a championship like we would have wanted, Chatham sorted through 53 players this summer and our goal was to give each guy as much information as we could in order to assist their success. We had a fantastic summer together and we get into our reports, our favorite memories, and so much more during this episode of Inside the Park.

For the seventeenth episode of Inside the Park, I was joined by Babson’s 2018 All-NEWMAC pitcher and current New York Mets employee Michael Genaro. Michael is currently working in Corperate Partnerships with the Mets and during our conversation he tells me what his goals are in baseball and beyond. Michael shared some awesome stories with me, such as memories from Babson's College World Series run and what stands out to him so far from his time in baseball. For the sixteenth episode of Inside the Park, I sat down with Andrew Crane. Andrew is the beat writer for the 2021 Chatham Anglers and he does such a great job giving fans a look into the team, “moving the rock” one day at a time. Andrew is a student at Syracuse University and his knowledge is clear through the way he speaks about his work and day to day at the park. Andrew is one of the hardest workers I know and it was such a pleasure to get Inside the Park with Andrew Crane.

For the fifteenth episode of Inside the Park, I sat down with the other half of the Anglers play-by-play team, Emmanuel Berbari. Emmanuel is a Fordham graduate and was an announcer for the Fordham flagship station before taking his talents to Chatham for the summer. On the fourteenth episode of Inside the Park, I spoke with Chatham Anglers play-by-play announcer Ben Shulman. Ben has broadcasting in his blood and he has taken the reigns of his career and started on a fantastic path for himself. He works as an announcer over at Syracuse where he will be entering his senior year. I've enjoyed listening to him call Angler games so much and I strongly recommend you catch a game on the radio before the season wraps up! Ben's got a fan in me and I can't wait to see what he does in the industry. 

For the latest installment of Inside the Park, I spoke with my baseball operations partner and Chatham's GM Liason Jack Montgomery. Jack grew up a ballplayer and has now taken his ability and knowledge to the business and operations side of the game. Jack has been so great to work with during the early part of this season and as the year rolls on, I am looking forward to continuing to learn from him, work with him, and win with him. 

On the twelfth episode of Inside the Park, I am joined by baseball data scientist and Professor at Boston University, Mr. Andy Andres. Professor Andres has done incredible work in baseball on both the biomechanical and data analytical side of the game and has given Ted Talks at Fenway Park and at Google highlighting his work in Sabermetrics. Currently, Professor Andres works as a datacaster at Fenway Park and is an official scorer in the Cape Cod Baseball League. His incredible depth of knowledge is clear and he is exactly the kind of guest I had in mind when I started Inside the Park. On the eleventh episode of Inside the Park, I am joined by CEO, Head Baker, and my very own boss, Nolan Liskov. Nolan has been making hand crafted banana bread out of Plymouth, Massachusetts for a little bit over a year and things have recently began to speed up. On the tenth episode of Inside the Park from Babson Park, I spoke with former professional baseball player, two-time National Champion as Athletic Director, and current Athletic Director at Babson College, Mike Lynch. Mr. Lynch shared stories from his time in baseball, his memories of Boston University's improbable 3-1 comeback in the D1 Hockey Championship, and his standout moments while AD at Babson.
