Simon Double and co-host Phil Boyle return with a monthly Inside the Rails episode headlined by an interview with veteran trainer Sir Mark Prescott.

A massive month for Solario Racing with Victoire Magique running in a Group 2 at Longchamp, before being sold at the Tattersalls Horses In Training Sale.  Simon also purchased a replacement for him at the Arqana Yearling Sale.

Phil discussed upcoming races for the two BG Racing horses before the host review the end of season flat action and the start of the jumps.

After commenting on the increase to betting-shop machine duty and its impact on racing finances, it was an absolute pleasure to welcome Sir Mark Prescott to Inside The Rails.

Sir Mark recounts his journey into racing, including a life-changing riding accident.  He entertains Simon and Phil with some stories from his long career as a trainer before providing three very insightful suggestions to improve British racing.

Simon Double and co-host Phil Boyle return for a slightly delayed episode of Inside the Rails, recorded ahead of Glorious Goodwood.

Phil has had a busy month with BG Racing buying 50% of a two-year-old filly with last month's guest, trainer James Keane.  He chats to Simon about this and the other BG Racing horse.

Simon has had a quieter month, but shares the Solario Racing news before the hosts tackle two issues that hit the sport in July, the Gambling Commission affordability checks and allegations surrounding Deva Racing.

They move on to review the key summer races before welcoming a guest with a famous surname, Jamie Piggott.

Jamie talks through his career path into becoming a bloodstock agent and has been lucky enough to work with some of the biggest names in the sport along that way.  He outlines his approach to supporting his clients and highlights some of his notable purchases.
