Today you'll hear Keri Roberts interview the founder of Women in Voice, Joan Palmiter Bajorek who not only has created an incredible community in the last year but is also a successful UX Researcher, conversational designer and a linguist.  You'll hear her talk about her journey from the arts into technology, how being a linguist helps her be a better conversational designer, how her nonprofit Women in Voice came about, plus what she's currently excited about and why voice matters to her. 

Today you’ll hear Keri Roberts interview senior systems developer analyst and PhD student, Shivam Parikh,  talk about how his current research which is focused on finding ways to detect fake news using things like voice tech and data.  You'll also hear what he’s looking to create based off of his research and why he’s enjoying the voice community so much.

Today we're continuing our university series to highlight students and faculty creating in the voice tech space.  You'll hear Rutgers student Reagan McFarland talk about how he got into tech, why he loves the creativity of developing for voice, how he got involved with VOICE Summit 19 plus why he enjoyed the hackathon so much and what he's working on now.
