With a career spanning over 25 years in Business Management, Harry Himmat Lagad, is an astute business Leader, who has successfully headed Supply Chain functions, Manufacturing, Sales, Business Development and General Management portfolios across a variety of industry verticals, from Third Party Logistics, Plastics, Photographic Goods, Engineering, Sporting Goods, Footwear and Clothing, Consumer Electronics, Telecom and Timber.
Harry joins Yojee Co-Founder and Managing Director Ed Clarke to discuss the opportunity for platforms, the potential of the business and opens up on both the philisophical and practical of what lies ahead.
Today, Harry sits on multiple boards and is the Integrated Logistics Director APAC at global logistics leader Geodis, adding to this he brings insights and vision that is recognised worldwide, and a true passion for entreprenuership and inspiring change.
His work has carried him across almost all continents, with various stints in USA, Russia, Europe, Singapore, South East Asia, Australia and currently India. He has worked with such astute organizations as Gati Ltd, Brightstar Inc, Nokia, Intercraft Australia, Pacific Brands (Pacific Dunlop Australia), Tech Pacific (Ingram Micro Austral-Asia), TNT Logistics and Toll Global Logistics, Asia. Harry has also served in the Electronic Engineering branch of the Indian Navy.
During his management tenure, Harry has not only managed large scale distribution &, manufacturing operations, but has also designed and developed world class Channel & Logistics solutions which have been published as global case studies due to the nature of complexity of its design and delivery.
Harry is well recognized within the Supply Chain industry globally and was recently chosen as the Top 100 Supply Chain Professionals in Asia Pacific. He travels and lectures extensively on Supply Chain and Leadership. Having served on various boards, Harry has been on the board of Gati Ltd, India's largest Logistics & Transport organization, E-biznet, a USA- India based Supply Chain Solutions Company ( recently acquired by Netsuite ) as well as an Executive Council Member on the Advisory Board of Supply Chain Asia, VP of the Indo Australian Chamber of Commerce and a member of Logistics Management Institute of Australia. Harry has been a past secretary of Lions Club International.
