On this episode we give non-spoiler reviews of three recently released movies that are now available to stream or download, starting with Netflix's Spanish horror-thriller The Platform which has prisoners scourging for food as a large platform carrying gourmet dinners floats from the top to the bottom floor. Then its Apple TV's banking drama starring Anthony Mackie and Samuel L. Jackson as two of the first African-American bankers in the United States. And, finally we end it with Hulu's coming-of-age comedy Big Time Adolescence starring SNL's Pete Davidson as an aimless college dropout who befriends a socially awkward 16-year old high schooler.

We review two of the most popular movie rentals, due to current events, Steven Soderbergh's Contagion and Wolfgang Petersen's Outbreak and break them both down to see which movie we think is considered better in our first no-holds barred match we're calling Cinema Thunderdome.

On this episode we give non-spoiler reviews on two new movies now playing... or was playing in theaters. First, is the comic book action flick Bloodshot starring Vin Diesel as a former soldier who gets his body replaced with advanced nano-technology making him an ultimate killing machine. Second, is the basketball drama The Way Back starring Ben Affleck as an alcoholic who gets a shot at redemption by becoming a high school basketball coach of a team destined for greatness.

On this episode we review three new movies now available to stream or download that may or may not be worth watching. First up is Netflix's new action-comedy Spencer Confidential starring Mark Wahlberg, Winston Duke, Iliza Shlesinger, and Alan Arkin. Then we review the new animated feature from DC Comics' Superman: Red Son which features an alternate take on the Man of Steel. Finally, we end our review with the new sci-fi horror flick Color Out of Space starring Nicolas Cage as a family man with a strange encounter with a meteorite and some alpacas.

On this episode we do Non-Spoiler reviews on some of the new television series that just started streaming starting with Netflix's I Am Not Okay With This starring IT stars Sophia Lillis and Wyatt Oleff. Then we review Hulu's new take on Nick Hornby's novel High Fidelity starring Zoe Kravitz, followed by Apple TV's new comedy Mythic Quest: Raven's Banquet starring Always Sunny's Rob McElhenney. As an added Bonus we also do a quick review on Amazon's new Nazi-hunting series produced by Jordan Peele, Hunters starring Al Pacino and Logan Lerman.

Second is the Blumhouse-produced horror flick based on the 80's television series Fantasy Island starring Michael Pena, Maggie Q, and Lucy Hale.

Not all our picks were Oscar Winners or even Oscar Contenders in the years they came out, but all of them left a great impression on us and we each consider them to be a worthy watch that everyone can enjoy.
