Although the electric vehicle market in India is currently in its nascent stages, it is poised to emerge as one of the leading markets in the world. According to an independent study by CEEW Centre for Energy Finance (CEEW-CEF), the EV market in India will be a US$206 billion opportunity by 2030 if India maintains steady progress.

The largest segment in the EV space, especially in India is the 2 wheeler market. Hero Electric, with 34% of the market share, is the top seller, followed by Okinawa (22%) and Ather (12%).
