Dr Mairead O’ Connor is an Honorary Fellow at the University of New South Wales Sydney Australia. Mairead teaches and researches in the area of Business Information Systems. Her research examines productivity within software development teams. She also focuses on increasing the amount of software graduates in women, LGBTQ, indigenous communities and lower socio-economic groups. She is also the host of the LGBTQ + STEM podcast and is the 2021 ambassador for Science Foundation Ireland and Smart Futures Ireland.
