We often speak of the heart as the home of love, kindness, courage, and compassion. But biologically, the heart is simply a vital organ that keeps us alive. So why have humans given it such deep emotional meaning?

In this episode, we explore the fascinating space between the two. Is the heart merely a powerful biological machine, or has it become a symbol of the goodness, love, and humanity within us?

This has been sitting in my drafts for a long time. It reflects on our desires, our wants, our longings, the things we believe we need and how easily the line between them begins to blur.

Sometimes what we want feels so strong, so consuming, that we start to mistake it for something essential… something necessary… something meant for us.

But what we desire is not always what we truly need. It may not even be what is best for us. And perhaps the most sincere thing we can do when clarity escapes us is to trust Allah’s will, even when we do not understand it.

A reminder that Ramadan is not a race. Move gently, worship sincerely, and trust Allah while you heal, grow, and return, one small step at a time. Your pace is still progress.

You are nothing but dust in a universe created by the Almighty and yet, He sees you and He chose you. This episode is a raw reflection on our place in the world, why we were created, and how worship is not perfection, but the courage to keep returning. You fall, You rise, You worship. Again and again, until Jannah.

This episode is about the moment you realize you’re no longer young. Your parents are aging and your siblings are growing up. You’re in adulthood now and you’re not afraid of it, you’re just living it. In this space between grief and growth, we talk about change, faith, responsibility, and what it means to show up for Islam, for our families, and for ourselves🤍🌸

This is a reminder that you are not a mistake, you are Allah’s perfect creation. Your heart, your soul, your body… every part of you was crafted with divine purpose. Know that you are worthy, that you are growing, and that you are deeply loved by HIM.

There are days when life grips your chest and you can’t breathe. Days when everything is falling apart, and you’re too tired to explain why. But in those moments when you’re too broken to even pray properly, your heart whispers just one word: Allah.

This episode is for the ones who are grieving, exhausted, overwhelmed. For the ones who cry silently and find peace in sujood. For the ones who only feel held when they call out “Ya Shāfi”—The Healer.

Now, Ash-Shāfi is not among the traditionally listed 99 Names of Allah, but the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used this name in a powerful du’a, saying:

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ النَّاسِ، أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ، اشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي، لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ، شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا

“O Allah, Lord of mankind, remove the harm and heal [him], for You are the Healer. There is no healing except Your healing, a healing that leaves behind no illness.”

(Bukhari & Muslim)
