Today’s Reflection: Strength to Achieve
Do you have a dream or a goal that you are working towards? Is it taking a moment for it to come together?
Remember the word of God in Philippians 4:13: "I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength."
Today’s Reflection: Choose to Be Joyful
We all face obstacles in life. Is this a true statement? Yes, it is. So you are not alone. Someone somewhere may have experienced something similar to what you are experiencing. Sometimes, the challenges may make us feel stuck, and we may feel like we have lost our joy.
But here is what the word of God says in Proverbs 17:22: “A happy heart is like good medicine. But a broken spirit drains your strength.”
Today’s Reflection: Don’t Give Up
Do Life goals and projects happen overnight? No. Life goals and projects don’t happen overnight. Contrary to popular belief, everything does take time. In our journey towards fulfilling that goal or project, there are steps to get there.
Here is what the word of God says in 2 Chronicles 15:7, “ But you should be strong. Don’t give up because you will be rewarded for your good work.”
Today’s Reflection: Write the Vision
Have you been inspired by a thought or vision God has placed in your heart? Have you sat at the beginning of a day, a new week, month, year, or perhaps before, on, or after a birthday to reflect on things you desire for your life? Perhaps it's a vision of starting a new business, a goal of improving your health, or a desire for a deeper spiritual connection.
Thinking about it is excellent, but here is what the word of God says in Habakkuk 2:2 -3: “The Lord answered me. He said: ‘Write down what I will show you- the vision. Make it very clear on the page where you write it. To easily read it. 3 What I will show to you must happen at the time that I have decided. It will certainly happen, as I have said. But you must be patient. What I show you will happen at the right time, so wait for it. It will come.”
Today’s reflection: Gratitude A Life Changer
Gratitude is a life-changer. It's not just a nice sentiment; it's a powerful force that can transform our lives.
Here is what the word of God says in 1 Thessalonians 5:18: "Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."
Today’s reflection: Looking Forward!
Have you made decisions and wondered if the decision you made was the right one? Do you wish you could go back and change things that may have gone wrong?
Here is what the word of God says in Isaiah 43:18: "Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old."
Today’s reflection: Waiting On God!
Everyone here is on a journey called life. We all encounter challenges at one time or another in various aspects of our lives. When a challenge comes, what is your first thought? Do you find yourself dwelling on the negatives of the situation? Remember, dwelling on the negatives of any situation can steal your joy and lower your spirits.
Here is what the word of God says in Isaiah 40:31: “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
Today’s reflection Change Your Mindset
In life, it is so easy to look, as the cliché would say, at the glass half empty instead of half full. You say Tomato—I say Tomato. I may like broccoli—you may not. Our perspectives on how we view things can sometimes get us bent out of shape. This can happen, perhaps, because of life experiences. We all go through changes. We all have challenges, whether great or small, but here again, it is about our perspective.
Here is what the word of God says in Romans 12:2 - Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by renewing your mind.
Today’s Reflection: Our Essential Prayer
Prayer is essential to our lives as Christian believers in God the Father Almighty, in Jesus Christ, his son, and the Holy Spirit of God.
One of the scriptures that shows one of many examples of our prayer life is found in Mark 1:35. Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house, and went to a private place, where he prayed.”
Our Prayer:
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us –. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
Today’s Reflection: The Armor of God
Did you know that God has given us powerful armor? This armor is not just a mere covering but our robust defensive shield. In the Kingdom of God, it stands as our spiritual protection, guarding us against the devil's cunning schemes.
Here’s what the word of God says in Ephesians 6:11: 'Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.'
Our Prayer:
Heavenly Father, equip me today and every day with your Full Armor as written in your word in Ephesians 6:17-20 and with the power of the sword of the Spirit to cancel every plot, plan and scheme of the enemy against me and those I lift in prayer. Heavenly Father, I ask you to continue to guide me in learning, knowing and applying your word to my life and as I pray and intercede for others. Your word is truth, your word is light. Thank you, Heavenly Father, for your word, your light, your presence, and your protection by the Power and Authority in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
