My guest today is Celia Louise, adventurer and lover of life! This lady inspires me so much and I have no doubt you will fall in love with her too. In our time together we discuss advocacy, activism, farming, healing, human resilience and potentiality in the face of destruction,  what it means to come home to your heart and an amazing exercise you won't want to miss! Celia's life story is so full of twists and turns that even she has a hard time believing it! Her lifelong passion for learning started with undergrad studies in Agriculture, Ecological Horticulture & Permaculture while running an organic farm. The concept that we are all connected through an energy field fascinated Celia since her days of teaching others to grow food, in Canada, California, & Indonesia. She practiced her energy skills with plants, animals & water. Her move to Indonesia lead to a Masters’ Degree in Human Security and Peacebuilding, and her second career focused on peace, human rights and humanitarian aid in Indonesia, Pakistan and Rwanda. This work showed her the best examples of human resilience, kindness and love; and expanded her appreciation for life while working to make the world a safer place. Celia’s biggest life lesson was learning to understand herself.   

A change in perception lead to Certifications in HeartMath, Brain Story, The Emotion Code, Tantra, Yoga, Reiki & Meditation. She had to overcome limiting beliefs, embrace forgiveness and gratitude in order to embrace her authentic self. This lead her to understand that the only way we can have world peace is when we are each peaceful inside.   

Celia is the proud mother of one daughter and two granddaughters with another on the way. She has owned two art studios, one in Manitoba, and one on Vancouver Island, because the world is always a little better with a little art to play with.   Celia loves to share the practices that radically changed her life and brought her to true unshakeable inner joy. Vera Ilnyckyj (il-nit-ski) is a Marketing professional with 25 years of experience aligning business strategy and organizational objectives with marketing plans. She provides collaborative leadership to build and implement marketing campaigns and initiatives, as well as drive employee engagement and organizational culture.   

She holds two degrees from the University of Calgary – a Bachelor of Commerce and an MBA. In 2016, Vera received her Certified Professional Coaching designation, and started a life coaching practice to help people create strategies to reach their goals.  

Vera has worked in a variety of industries, for companies both large and small, and credits this diversity in shaping her ability to build and nurture relationships, to foster an entrepreneurial mindset, and be adaptable and creative in ambiguous environments. Vera also runs a life coaching and consulting business, working with clients to help them take inspired action to live a genuine, fulfilled and purposeful life.

Lorephil Aguinaldo was born and raised in the Philippines, arriving in Canada in 2011 as a Foreign Worker. Beck Paschoal is an internationally collected mixed media painter. She has been living and creating artwork in Hawaii since 1998. Her passion is creating art that inspires love and gratitude, art that leads the viewer to an introspective experience. She currently shows and sells her artworks in fine art galleries, Eclectic Image Gallery in Sedona, Az and Enchantress Gallery in Wailea, Hawaii. She mostly paints with an impressionistic style using thick rich paint applied with a pallet knife so that it lifts off the canvas, becoming sculptural. She loves the no rules approach to artwork, it's a rewarding platform for free expression. Most of her paintings are purely imagination or a hybrid of a real location while letting the imagination go wild to fill in the story. With over 20 years in the art business her roles have been multifaceted. Some of her favorite positions have been gallery owner, sales trainer, art consultant and artist. Robin Matrai, graduate of the Mount Royal Social Work Diploma program, entrepreneur, public speaker and artist has spent her lifetime in building community.
