Imagine that you live in a block of 4 flats and the water supply was cut off. A neighbour on your street who heard about it, came and told everyone of you across all 4 flats that you could come get as much water as you need from his house. Everyone in the 4 flats set out to go get water, carrying different containers; some, a gallon; some, 5 buckets; and some, 20 gallons and more. Everyone got as much as the the containers they came with could receive. Now, go to the opening scripture in today's devotional article: "...THEY which RECEIVE ABUNDANCE of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall REIGN in life..." Dear Brother/Sister, your reigning in life is dependent on how much you can receive; and your receiving is up to you, just like those guys with different containers. If you came into your house and you noticed a funny smell; you then found out that it was from the bin, what would you do? You'd take out the smelly bin, right? How about if you realized you need a fridge in your room? You'd get one for yourself, right? Why are you doing all of that? It's because it's your house and you can do whatever you like. Now, in the same vein, when the Bible says that your body is the temple (house) of the Holy Ghost, it means that you shouldn't be afraid because you got a doctor's report that your body was infiltrated with any kind of sickness. Like you did to the bin, the Owner of the house (your body) would not share his accommodation with sickness. How would the sickness get out?
