Instagram Insights: Which Analytics to Actually Pay Attention to for Your Business
Let's clear this up once and for all…..The algorithm isn't out to harm you! Instagram wants you to use the app as much as possible.
In today's episode, I will share with you what some may think is a boring topic, but I assure you it's not boring— Instagram Insights. Understanding insights and analytics will help you to identify what you should be looking for. This tool can help you get more engagement, viewers, followers, and cash.
As soon as you get a sense of what's happening, you can adjust your content. If your engagement is low, or people don't save or share your stuff, you can look at different analytics that tell you what your followers like. It might be a carousel, reel, story, or quote post. Insights tell you so much about your audience.
I want you to pay attention to the content that you create that is shared. See what types of posts are being saved. Do you see any patterns? When are your followers most active? All of this can help you plan your Instagram strategy.
Don't check your insights every day, though… It'll drive you crazy. Once a week is fine— Keep an eye on what's changing as you try new things. It's all about trying and analyzing.
