Intellectual Gaming

The Kingdom Heart's series is always really fun to study! There is so much to unpack in really every game, even the mobile ones, and Xehanort's story is particularly interesting. Going from  essentially a villain just wielding darkness bent on taking over, he has developed into one of the most complex villains in gaming. But did you know that Xehanort's story is essentially a greek tragedy? Here I discuss his evolution as a villain, and how his fatal flaw and potential predetermined fate might have led him down a path he had no control over.

I talk about how Japanese culture and folklore is referenced throughout the Animal Crossing series, and how even some minor aspects of the game can teach you about Japan and their beliefs and customs.
