About Intense Energy Nardcore Podcast
From the publisher's feed
Intense Energy is a Nardcore music podcast that plays punk and hardcore music from Oxnard, CA and surrounding areas in the 805*. Nardcore is a mashup of the words “Oxnard” and “Hardcore” and is the…
phrase used to describe punk and hardcore bands in the area. It features music from the proto-Nardcore bands in the 70’s (The Rotters), the golden era in the 80’s (Ill Repute, Dr. Know, etc), the rebirth in the 90’s (Burning Dog, No Motiv, etc), up through current times with bands like Dead Heat and Downpresser. This podcast seeks to curate a mix of tunes that represent Nardcore past, present, and future.
