  • AWARENESS 👁 becoming aware of our True Self – (The "Art" of Self-Discovery: 2 of 8)
Explore The "Art" of Self-Discovery online journey at https://intentioninspired.com/discovery
We come to self-discovery for many reasons.
We may have always felt a longing to know our "true" selves and now want to dig deeper into who we are. We see patterns of behavior and wonder if our behavior is serving our needs. Our relationships are often strained and we wonder if we could be playing a part in that. Our desire to know and understand ourselves can feel like an immediate need or our ultimate, lifelong adventure, or both.
    Remember this:
    • We are on a quest of SELF-DISCOVERY.
    • We are not broken.
    • We do not need to "be fixed".
    • We have learning and growing to do (no matter what our age).
    • Part of that learning and growing is releasing what no longer serves us.
The first step to self-discovery is self-awareness.
The practice of observing ourselves without analysis or judgment and documenting our findings will lead us to ask questions that bring clearer understanding.
We can use our feeling place as a guide to becoming aware.
How you "feel" will undoubtedly be painted with conditioning but it is our habitual conditioning that we are uncovering. Own those feelings without judgment. Document them without analyzing them.
Can we become AWARE of ourselves and just notice, through observation, the beauty in all of our states of being? I believe we can.
Your ability to acknowledge your feeling place, no matter what it is, is the key to authentic, lasting growth. If you can put to rest the "shoulds" or "if only" or "can'ts" by identifying them but not allowing them to take hold, you can answer with your own authentic truth.
Spend the day observing your feeling places and documenting those feelings.
If you are at work keep a post-it note near you to jot down these feeling places. Be specific enough on your post-it to remember, when you document in the evening, the person, place, or thing that contributed to that feeling.

  • ADAPTING 🙃 gracefully merging with the unexpected – Morning Routine(7 of 7)
Today, let's embrace unexpected nonroutine moments as part of the routine itself!
Explore today's full session at https://intentioninspired.com/morning7
    🙏 A MOMENT OF GRATITUDE
Starting the day with gratitude creates clear space for new possibilities to emerge.
When we start our morning with gratitude, getting out of bed will become that much easier, as our day is instilled with meaning beyond what is on the to-do list. Not to mention the wealth of health a consistent gratitude practice brings; including more positive emotions, a stronger immune system, better sleep, a deeper sense of connection to all things, more appreciation for others, and more enjoyment all around.
    How about you?
What are three things you are grateful for right now?
    🌻 MINDFUL MOMENT
Ran out of coffee? Favorite morning robe is missing in action? A loved one is reaching out for support?
Morning routines hardly ever play out exactly as we want them to. So the way we respond to 'disruptions' in our morning flow is an essential element to consider and prepare ourselves for.
How we adapt to the unexpected is always our choice, (if we choose). In times of distress, feel your feet on the ground and take a deep breath. If you feel like you didn't meet your morning routine expectations today, that's okay. Tomorrow is a new day!
    ❤️‍🔥 RELEASING RITUAL
There is no right or wrong way to release what no longer serves you. Here are some fun ways to play with releasing:
    • Open some windows to let in some fresh air while acknowledging what it is that is no longer working for you.
    • Burn some incense as you reflect on the ways this transitioning way of being has served you in the past.
    • Give your morning space a good cleaning as you acknowledge what thoughts and feelings arise.
    • Spend time journaling about what you would enjoy in place of what you are releasing.

  • EXERCISE 🏋️‍♀️ sweating yourself up for success – Morning Routine(6 of 7)
Today, let's explore the vast benefits of getting our juices flowing first thing in the morning.
Explore today's full session at https://intentioninspired.com/morning6
    💪 MICRO CHALLENGE
Starting tomorrow, get up just five minutes earlier than usual. If you usually wake up at 7:00 A.M., set your alarm for 6:55 instead. Eventually, if you keep moving your wake-up time five minutes earlier every week, you'll find a time that works for you.
    😅  PRO TIPS
Keep your exercise routines short, simple, and fun! This is especially important in the beginning when we first start playing with new routine ingredients. Done is better than perfect. There's nothing wrong with push-ups, squats, jumping jacks, or just standing up beside your bed and getting in some stretches. Keep your workouts fluid, day-to-day, and throughout your life. Enjoy the feeling of accomplishment an early morning sweat brings. Take your workout "win" into the rest of your day.
    💧 REHYDRATE FIRST THING
We human beings are made of up to 60 percent of water. The cells in our brain are mostly water, too. In fact, water makes up about 73 percent of our noodle! During 8 hours of sleep, we lose an average of 200 milliliters of water—nearly 7 cups!  So rehydrating soon after waking up is a simple and helpful practice to include in our morning routine's stack of healthy habits.
    🤑 INVEST IN YOURSELF
Sticking to an exercise routine doesn't always come so easy. The best investment is the investment in yourself. Put your money where your values are. Set stakes that inspire you to show up. Consider working with a personal trainer.
    🍫 REWARD YOURSELF
Any effective reward system can immediately boost inspired action! What kind of exercise reward(s) will inspire you to stick to your goals? Consider the exercise a reward in itself!

  • PRODUCTIVE 🤓 replacing reactive activities with proactive ones – Morning Routine(5 of 7)
Today, let's stoke a sense of early morning productivity that will continue to radiate into the rest of the day.
Explore today's full session at https://intentioninspired.com/morning5
    📿 TODAY'S' MANTRA
    "I am my greatest priority."
Death comes for us all. So why not invite today to be the next best day of our life!?
Remembering the impermanence of all things, especially our skin and bones, inspires us to show up with attention for whatever the day beholds and reminds us of the importance of prioritizing what is most important.
    ❗️ HEALTHY HABIT
The most important thing is to remember the most important thing.
We are most fresh and clear-headed in the mornings (if are well-rested), and so what is most important surfaces easier.
Everything we do is because we think we will feel better in the doing or having of it.
A to-do list is most effective when we prioritize the items on it and, once prioritized, do the most important tasks first.
    ☑ YOUR TURN
    1. Start with what is most important to you.
    2. Keep it short.
    3. Add some easy tasks for some quick wins.
    4. Practice makes progress! Enjoy the process of fine-tuning your own to-do & to-be lists in ways that make you feel good and set you up for more success throughout the day.
    📣 TODAY'S AFFIRMATION
"I am a receptive and proactive being.
I notice when a stress response makes me reactive.
My body is an anchor that grounds me back into the present moment.
I take a deep breath to quiet the critical mind and release what does not serve me.
    I lovingly accept what is.
I see more clearly who I am and remember what is most important to me.
I prioritize serving my Self first so that I can serve others with joyous alignment.
I do not let anything get between me and my most important tasks for the day.
I pour my precious productive energy into things that make my soul sing."

  • MINDFUL 🧘 the greatest life hack that most people don't use – Morning Routine(4 of 7)
Today, let's view our morning with the playful creativity of our three-year-old and the graceful focus of our 108-year-old.
Explore today's full session at https://intentioninspired.com/morning4
    📣 TODAY'S AFFIRMATION
I wake up renewed and smile.
I smile with every cell in my body.
    Grateful to live another day.
Eager to honor this gift of life.
    Receiving each precious moment.
    Accepting and loving what is.
Letting it all wash over me.
    Embracing myself and all beings,
    with kindness and compassion.
    🧬 SCIENCE SHOWS
Among a plethora of benefits, meditation is proven to help with the following:
    • improves our concentration and attention
    • helps us solve problems and make smarter choices
    • brings us out of our mental ruts
    • reduces stress and lowers blood pressure
    • reduces anxiety and depression
    • reduces physical pain
    • improves sleep
    • dampens the genes involved in the inflammatory response, and promotes those genes associated with DNA stability (hello longevity!)
    • opens our eyes to the truths we've forgotten
    📿 TODAY'S MANTRA
    "Meditation is medication."
As you repeat today's mantra, let it guide you into a meditative state of surrender and trust. Allow the repetitive sounds of these words to penetrate the depths of the unconscious mind and adjust the vibration of all aspects of your being towards inner harmony.
    LET'S REFLECT 🧸
Here are two meditation myths we often hear:
Myth #1: "Meditation means clearing your mind."
While that sounds nice, meditation is more about watching your mind, wherever it goes; without judgment. This practice of observing, without attaching to, helps us be the objective witness.
Myth #2: "Meditation should be peaceful and relaxing."
Well, it can be, but it’s not going to be like that all the time. And when it isn’t? That’s ok! Meditation is about seeing things clearly, not wanting them to be a certain way.

  • CREATIVE 🧑‍🎨 a new empty canvas every day – Morning Routine(3 of 7)
Today, let's view our morning with the playful creativity of our three-year-old and the graceful focus of our 108-year-old.
Explore today's full session at https://intentioninspired.com/morning3
Striving to improve our Morning Routine is only helpful until it isn't. If we dare let self-criticism get the best of us in amidst the inevitable resistance we'll face ... well, perhaps it's time to ease up a bit and remember that tomorrow is a new day to try it again.
Every morning is a chance to observe and be creative with the details we use to fill our day in with. As we apply one layer at a time, we notice what feels good and learn to stack healthy habits just as we would stack layers of color on a canvas. Part of this work of art is our process of creating an intentional and inspiring flow throughout the day. One perfectly imperfect stroke at a time.
    📿 MANTRA
    "I create my habits.
    My habits create me."
As you repeat today's mantra, notice what thoughts come to surface. Allowing each thought to pass by as you get more and more clarity into how you want to create the morning habits that ultimately end up creating you.
    💪 HEALTHY HABIT
Our first action upon waking forms the beginning of a habit stack: a series of linked actions.
Much like a Jenga stack, habit stacks are only as sturdy as their foundational blocks.
    🎨 CREATIVE EXERCISE
Let's create a visual representation of our morning routine habit stack.
    1. Find yourself an empty canvas of your choosing.
    2. Honor the empty canvas for what it is, an opportunity for anything.
    3. With ease and gratitude, begin to add to the canvas as you would add things to your ideal morning.
No rush. Just one small thing at a time. Plenty of time to try new things. Continue playing on your morning routine canvas for as long as you'd like!

    💬 TODAY'S QUOTE
During his morning routine walk, Mooji offers simple and practical guidance for how best to start the day grounded in presence.
"Just be aware of the sense of being, it is not personal. Of all habits, this is going to be the most fruitful, the most delivering. And this habit becomes integrated in your being. The more you try this, the better it gets!"
    – Mooji
    🙏 A MOMENT OF GRATITUDE
As extensions of Source and creators of worlds, how we focus our energy is how we manifest our reality.
Positive thoughts lead to positive experiences, while negative thoughts manifest negative experiences.
This is why gratitude is such a powerful practice to include in our morning routine. It is a simple and accessible way to invite more joyful abundance into the rest of the day.
    • Reflect on something you wish you had more of; like love, money, joy, fame, or relationships.
    • Recognize that it is the positive feelings you will feel upon having that thing that inspires your desire to manifest it.
    • Appreciate what you already have that creates the same positive feelings.
    • Remember that you are always worthy to receive more of those things that bring you joy.
    • Trust that benevolent Universal forces are working on your behalf as you think and speak and do what feels good for you.
