Why is it that we can look at some companies or organizations and wonder why they failed when they appeared to have all of the necessary resources in place and were positioned for success and growth?

Let’s consider what characteristic is at the heart of a leader who can effectively lead those around him into a more positive and productive life

Though ‘vision casting’ is good, there comes a point when you take steps to put the vision into action. If you see something that needs to get done, then do it!

“If at first you don’t succeed, try and try again.” It is a catchy cliché that hints to the thought of never giving up. Yet, set backs and failures may not be the result of not trying. No more excuses. No more shrugging your shoulders and wondering why things did not work out. Learn this simple approach to reaching your goals.

Maybe you consider yourself to be a ‘purpose driven’ leader. However, ask yourself is the ‘purpose’ part of being driven overshadowing common sense, or even the leading of God’s Spirit as He is trying to guide you to more successfully reach your goals.

Why is it imperative that you, as a leader, be yourself? It is how each leader employs leadership elements that make all of the difference in that leader’s effectiveness. Being yourself directly impacts your team’s respect for you as a leader, response to you as a leader, and rapport with you as their leader.

From one leader to another, I ask you to honestly, and objectively contemplate today’s Intentional Leadership topic. Grasping and implementing this focus will dramatically increase your effectiveness. You need the input of the team God has given you.
