The Curva Nord gave the team a lift as they demolished Salernitana 5-0 and as the smoke from the flares settled, it was obvious that Inter had rediscovered their scoring form. Lautaro Martinez netted a hat-trick and Edin Dzeko got a brace, this was a game where Inter were back to form. It was also a great moment for the Official Inter podcast in English as host Richard Hall travelled to Milan to catch up with Thomas Lawrence and maybe perhaps this brought a little luck. This podcast is a little different and we will tell you why.

This podcast documents Richard Hall’s return to Milan, He has been visiting San Siro since 2005 and whilst he lives in the UK he has been, at the peak, watching the team up to 10 times a season. He has been with the Ultras, with the press, interviewed people such as Ivan Perisic, Mario Corso, Giuseppe Bergomi, Roberto Mancini and more and has met Javier Zanetti. This was his first time back in nearly three years and the podcast shows his journey to meet Thomas, however, this is not about him.

This podcast was created by Inter, not to be about Richard or Thomas but instead was to try and show the emotion of being back in Milan and the emotion of seeing Inter after the pandemic. This is for the fans who haven’t been able to return yet and for those that have. It is about realising just how important it is to see Milan, see Inter and San Siro. This has been produced to let the fans that have not been able to travel that we understand how hard it is and that, now restrictions are lifting, you will also be able to experience this soon. This podcast is in appreciation to all those who have missed being at the games, we thank you for your support from a far. We hope that this podcast shows that things are getting better, travel is possible and also we simply tried to capture emotions we know you all feel.

Richard Hall and Thomas Lawrence look back at a difficult February and switch their sights to the upcoming fixtures starting with Salernitana. As always, the boys answer the questions from the listeners!

The official Inter podcast in English is back with Richard Hall and Thomas Lawrence. They look back on the games against Roma and Napoli, as well as looking ahead to the Champions League test against Liverpool. The Nerazzurri have had to endure a difficult first two months of 2022 but they have come through this with flying colours albeit with a few challenges.

After the Derby Della Madonnina, Inter rose up and despatched Roma in the Coppa Italia. The win was a much needed tonic and it also set up a chance avenge the game against Milan as the two will meet in the semi-finals. The team then travelled to Naples and produced a solid display gaining a point. This sees out a period where the team have had to endure some tough back to back fixtures. Now it is about moving forward and taking on Liverpool in the Champions League.

The official Inter podcast in English is back with Richard Hall and Thomas Lawrence as they look back over the January period in which the Nerazzurri did themselves proud. They discuss how the task wasn’t easy and how the squad showed its full strength in depth. Were there nervy moments? Of course, did Inter leave it late? Yes, more the once but after all this they go into the International break on top of the pack. The boys also look forward to a tough February schedule and as always answer questions from the readers.

The boys talk about the dramatic and important win against Lazio, they touch on the crazy Roma v Juventus game and there is, as always, nostalgia. They look back at the SuperCoppa Final of 2005 where Juventus also faced the Nerazzurri and they speak to Matteo Darmian about his feelings before the big game.

As 2021 draws to an end, the official Inter Podcast look back on the first half of the season under Simone Inzaghi. The Nerazzurri will finish winter champions which could bring some good luck. This is the first time since the famous treble season that they have finished on top at the end of the year, this has only happened four times before and the Milanese outfit have won the Scudetto on all of these occasions.
