At a press conference, interim Honolulu police chief Rade Vanic elaborated on a deadly officer-involved shooting that took place outside Queen's Medical Center Thursday morning. Police responded to reports of a man with a firearm expressing suicidal thoughts. Vanic said when officers approached, the suspect pulled out a revolver and pointed at them.
